Brzuze [ˈbʐuzɛ] is a village in Rypin County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. [1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Brzuze. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Rypin and 47 km (29 mi) east of Toruń.

It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and only town is Rypin, which lies 56 km (35 mi) east of Toruń and 98 km (61 mi) east of Bydgoszcz.
