Bullskin Township/Connellsville Township Joint Sewage Authority is a municipal authority providing sewage treatment in Bullskin Township and Connellsville Township in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. [2]
Sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants from municipal wastewater, containing mainly household sewage plus some industrial wastewater. Physical, chemical, and biological processes are used to remove contaminants and produce treated wastewater that is safe enough for release into the environment. A by-product of sewage treatment is a semi-solid waste or slurry, called sewage sludge. The sludge has to undergo further treatment before being suitable for disposal or application to land.

[4] In 2009, the authority raised sewage rates $2.70, a move that was expected to generate $30,000, which would pay for $36,000 in capital improvements. [1]

John Christopher Lujack Jr. is a former American football quarterback and 1947 Heisman Trophy winner. He played college football for the University of Notre Dame, and professionally for the Chicago Bears. Lujack was the first of several successful quarterbacks who hailed from Western Pennsylvania. It is considered a Second Class public school district due to its resident population exceeding 30,000, but being less than two hundred fifty thousand (250,000) people.

Connellsville Area High School is a rural, public high school, located in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, United States of America. It is operated by the Connellsville Area School District. In 2015, enrollment was reported as 1,174 pupils in 9th through 12th grades, with 52.9% of pupils eligible for a free lunch due to the family meeting the federal poverty level. Additionally, 11.5% of pupils received special education services, while 3.9% of pupils were identified as gifted. Connellsville Area High School employed 90 teachers. Per the Pennsylvania Department of Education, 100% of the teachers were rated "Highly Qualified" under the federal No Child Left Behind Act. The school is not a federally designated Title I school.
Indian Creek Valley Trail is a Pennsylvania rail-trail in northeast Fayette and southeast Westmoreland Counties about 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. The Saltlick Township-owned Section opened in 1989, where the trail traverses Indian Creek along the former Indian Creek Valley Railroad (ICVRR). The second phase opened in 2009, and is in Donegal Township; however, it is owned by the Mountain Watershed Association. Plans call to extend the trail further in the future.
