Cabaret (Creole: Kabarè) is a city in the Cabaret commune in the Arcahaie Arrondissement, in the Ouest department of Haiti. [3] In 2009, the city had 36,120 inhabitants.
Ouest is one of the ten departments of Haiti. It is the jurisdictional seat of the national capital, the city of Port-au-Prince. It has an area of 4,982.56 square kilometres (1,923.78 sq mi) and a population of 4,029,705. It borders the Dominican Republic to the east.
Touggourt is a city and commune, former sultanate and capital of Touggourt District, in Ouargla Province, Algeria, built next to an oasis in the Sahara. As of the 2008 census, the commune had a population of 39,409 people, up from 32,940 in 1998, and an annual growth rate of 1.8%. Construction eventually stopped, but the name was kept until Duvalier's successor, his son Jean-Claude Duvalier, fled the country in 1986.
