The Canadian Football League is a professional sports league in Canada. The CFL is the highest level of competition in Canadian football. The league consists of nine teams, each located in a city in Canada. They are divided into two divisions: four teams in the East Division and five teams in the West Division.
The Canadian Football Hall of Fame (CFHOF) is a not-for-profit corporation, located in Hamilton, Ontario, that celebrates great achievements in Canadian football. It is maintained by the Canadian Football League (CFL). It includes displays about the CFL, Canadian university football and Canadian junior football history.
George Robert Reed, CM, SOM, is a former American college football and Canadian Football League player. Reed, along with Mike Pringle and Johnny Bright, is one of the players most often mentioned as being the greatest running back in CFL history. In November 2006, Reed was voted one of the CFL's Top 50 players (#2) of the league's modern era by Canadian sports network TSN.
The Jackie Parker Trophy is a Canadian Football League trophy that is awarded annually to the Most Outstanding Rookie in the West Division, since 1974. Each team in the West Division nominates a candidate from which a winner is chosen, and either this winner or the winner of the Frank M. Gibson Trophy will receive the Canadian Football League Most Outstanding Rookie Award. The award is named after former CFL star player and coach Jackie Parker.
The Norm Fieldgate Trophy is a Canadian Football League trophy awarded to the outstanding defensive player in the West Division. Each team in the West division nominates a player, from which the winner is chosen. Either the winner of this trophy or the winner of the James P. McCaffrey Trophy will also be the winner of the Canadian Football League Most Outstanding Defensive Player award. The trophy is named after former BC Lions linebacker Norm Fieldgate.
Edward Hervey is a former professional Canadian football wide receiver and currently an assistant general manager for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played in the CFL for the Edmonton Eskimos for eight years and also served as general manager of the Eskimos from 2013 through 2016, winning the 103rd Grey Cup to conclude the 2015 CFL season. He was later the general manager for the BC Lions from 2017 to 2020. He played college football at the University of Southern California.
The John Agro Special Teams Award is presented to the CFL's Most Outstanding Special Teams player that is voted by his peers. The award is named in honour of John Agro, co-founder of the Canadian Football League Players' Association, with whom he also served as legal counsel.
The Most Outstanding Rookie Award is annually awarded to the player judged to be the best player in his first year in the Canadian Football League. The two nominees for the award are the Frank M. Gibson Trophy winner from the East Division, and the Jackie Parker Trophy winner from the West Division.
Brian Ramsay is a former Canadian football offensive lineman and currently serving as the Canadian Football League Players' Association's Executive Director. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2006 CFL Draft by the Toronto Argonauts. He played college football at New Mexico. He transitioned into the role in April 2016 after completing a CFL playing career spanning from 2006-2015. Ramsay has played a pivotal role in the negotiations and ratification of the 2019 and 2022 collective agreements between the CFL players and the leagues' ownership.
The 2010 CFL season is the 57th season of modern-day Canadian football. Officially, it is the 53rd Canadian Football League season. Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton hosted the 98th Grey Cup on November 28 when the Montreal Alouettes became the first team to repeat as Grey Cup Champions in 13 years, defeating the Saskatchewan Roughriders, 21–18. The league announced on its Twitter page on January 29, 2010 that the season would start on July 1, 2010. As of 2021 this is the most recent CFL regular season to start in July.

The 2014 CFL season was the 61st season of modern-day Canadian football. It was the 57th Canadian Football League season. Vancouver hosted the 102nd Grey Cup on November 30. The league expanded to nine teams with the addition of the Ottawa Redblacks, giving the CFL nine teams for the first time since the 2005 season. As a result of the expansion, the schedule shifted to a 20-week regular season plus three weeks of playoffs ; the season started on June 26, 2014.
Gary Edward Schreider was a Canadian football player who played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Ottawa Rough Riders and BC Lions. He won the Grey Cup with Ottawa in 1960. He played university football at Queen's University, where he was part of the Golden Gaels' 1955 Yates Cup championship.
Edward Chalupka was a Canadian Football League (CFL) player. He played college football at the University of North Carolina. Calupka played his entire professional career as a guard for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, from 1970 through 1976. He won the Grey Cup with Hamilton in 1972.

Steve Mazurak is a retired Canadian football player who played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played Junior Baseball for the Regina Maroons playing in two Canadian Championships. He also played Junior Football for the Regina Rams and played in two Canadian Championships (1971-1972) winning in 1971. He went on to play for the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 1973-1980. Following his career with the Roughriders he was hired by his former teammate George Reed, President of the Canadian Football League Players Association as the first ever full time Executive Director of the Players Association. He assisted in negotiating two collective bargaining agreements for the CFLPA and was instrumental in establishing the first ever Career Counseling Program for its members. Following his five year career with the CFLPA he spent 2 years working with the SaskSport/Lotteries ‘Sask First’ Canada Games High Performance Program as Director Communications. He left SaskSport in 1989 to lead the Saskatchewan Rogers Cantel business development team in the new world of wireless cellular communications. As a sales leader DSM (Saskatchewan) and later Director Sales and interim Vice President Cantel MidWest (Winnipeg) he finished his wireless career as Owner Operator of Ci Wireless for AT&T Allstream. In 2005 he left his Winnipeg business and moved back to his Regina roots to work for his beloved Roughriders and incoming President and CEO Jim Hopson. In 2018, Steve retired after a very rewarding thirteen year career as a senior executive with the Riders. Steve and his good friend Jim Hopson enjoyed many successes with the Roughriders. Steve and his wife Heather were married in 1973 and reside in Regina. They have seven grandchildren from their four children Lee (Rob), Jaclyn (Craig), Andrew (Alana) and Nicholas (Jill).

The playoffs commenced on November 12 and concluded on November 26 with the Toronto Argonauts defeating the Calgary Stampeders to win the 105th Grey Cup.
