It has also been made into a television series with Raghubir Yadav playing the role of Chacha Chaudhary.

'Chaudhary' was first bestowed by the various rulers of the Delhi Sultanate, and the custom was continued by the breakaway Bengal Sultanate. Later, the Mughals and the Nawabs conferred the same title in great numbers. Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne is an Indian television series directed by Prakash Jha that revolved around the life of Mungerilal, played by Raghubir Yadav. The serial was conceptualised by Neeraj Kumar who also gave it its iconic name which has stuck in the collective conscience of its audience. Neeraj Kumar took inspiration from James Thurber's story Secret Life of Walter Mitty and went on to script the first four episodes of the show. Subsequent episodes were written by Manohar Shyam Joshi. Its hugely popular and celebrated theme song song- 'Sapnon Ke Naam Nahin, sapnon ke daam nahi, sapno ke ghodon par kissi ki lagaam nahi, Mungerilal ke Haseen Sapne...' were also penned by Neeraj Kumar.
Firaaq is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language drama film written and directed by Nandita Das. It is set one month after the 2002 violence in Gujarat, India and looks at the aftermath in its effects on the lives of everyday people. It claims to be based on "a thousand true stories". Firaaq means both separation and quest in Arabic. Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye was a Hindi language Indian television series that aired on Sony TV, which premiered on 4 March 2001. The series was produced by Shobhana Desai, and aired every Sundays at 9pm, it starred Kartika Rane, Aashish Chaudhary, and Perizaad Zorabian in the main lead. The series was nominated for numerous award categories at the time it was on-air, such as Prasoon Joshi was nominated for "TV Lyricist of the Year" award and Sanjay Upadhyay was nominated for "TV Director of the Year" award at the Indian Telly Awards in 2002.

Pinki is often seen with her pet squirrel named Kut-Kut. The other notable characters in this comic are her neighbor Jhapatji, her friends Bhiku and Champu. Dear Friend Hitler, released in India as Gandhi to Hitler, is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language war drama film based on letters written by Mahatma Gandhi to the leader of the Nazi Party and Chancellor of Germany and Nazi German dictator Adolf Hitler. The film, starring Raghubir Yadav as Adolf Hitler and Neha Dhupia as Eva Braun, was directed by Rakesh Ranjan Kumar and produced by Anil Kumar Sharma under the production house Amrapali media vision. It was screened at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival where it received negative reviews. Film Business Asia quoted that "despite the provocative title, the film is not a tribute to the murderous Führer". It premiered in India on 29 July 2011.

It was produced by Ajay Devgn and Priti Sinha under, ADF & RLE Media. The series stars are Richa Chadha, Pratik Gandhi, Ashutosh Rana, Raghuvir Yadav, Sharib Hashmi, Paoli Dam, and Shashank Arora in key roles.
