Chatou (simplified Chinese :岔头; traditional Chinese :岔頭; pinyin :Chàtóu) is a town of Lingshou County in western Hebei province, China, [1] located in the eastern foothills of Taihang Mountains about 31 kilometres (19 mi) northwest of the county seat. As of 2011 [update] , it has 18 villages under its administration. [2]
Simplified Chinese characters are standardized Chinese characters prescribed in the Table of General Standard Chinese Characters for use in mainland China.
