Almost two years later, the common track was added also to the Cherry's album.

My Truth is the second studio album by Swedish singer Robyn. It was released on 17 May 1999 by BMG Sweden. Robyn collaborated with the producers Lindström & Ekhé, Christian Falk, Billy Mann, Thomas Rusiak and Masters at Work on the album. A pop, R&B and soul record, My Truth is an autobiographical album for which Robyn co-wrote all fourteen songs. Some of its lyrics reflect on the singer's fall 1998 abortion, which became controversial when RCA Records began planning a North American release. When Robyn refused to change the album after the label's request, plans to release My Truth outside Sweden were cancelled.
"7 Seconds" is a song performed by Senegalese singer-songwriter Youssou N'Dour and Swedish singer-songwriter Neneh Cherry. Composed by the pair along with Cameron McVey and Jonathan Sharp, it achieved success upon release as a single on June 7, 1994 via Columbia Records, reaching the top 10 in numerous countries; in France, it stayed at number one for 16 weeks, a record at the time. N'Dour featured the song on his seventh album, The Guide (Wommat) (1994), while Cherry included it on her 1996 album Man. "7 Seconds" also won the MTV Europe Music Award in the category for Best Song of 1994. Stéphane Sednaoui directed the music video for the song. NME magazine ranked "7 Seconds" number 40 in their list of the 50 best songs of 1994.

Ricardo DaSilva II, better known by his stage name Swingfly, is an American–Swedish naturalised rapper and singer. He is also known by other aliases like Swing-Fly, Richie Pasta and Swing. He started lending his vocal talents to other artists' records, but has also developed also a solo career. He also appeared in Melodifestivalen 2011 with "Me and My Drum", finishing fifth. It became his most successful single, reaching the No. 2 position on the Swedish Singles Chart.

Swedish Dance Music Awards was a Swedish dance music award that started in 1990 by John Wallin and Jonas Siljemark. At that time Swedish dance artists had no national media exposure compared to the massive coverage they were receiving internationally. Wallin and Siljemark felt that the home market of such successful artists didn't give the respect the artists deserved. That is how they came up with the idea of the Swedish Dance Music Awards. It was broadcast live on television and radio and got much media coverage.
