Chūkyō, or the Chūkyō region, is a major metropolitan area in Japan that is centered on the city of Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture. The area makes up the most urbanized part of the Tōkai region. Naomi Miyake was a Japanese cognitive psychologist. She was a professor at Chukyo University and the University of Tokyo. She is best known for her research on learning and collaboration, in the field of cognitive science.
