Chuncheon Songam Leports Town is a sports complex in Chuncheon, South Korea. Former stadium was built in 1980 as Chuncheon Civic Stadium .

Chuncheon Civic Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium located in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, South Korea. It was built in 1980 to hold Korean Junior Sports Festival. It also held Korean National Sports Festival twice, in 1985 and 1996. The stadium had a capacity of 35,000 people. In December 2008, because of the deterioration of its equipment, the stadium was demolished, and a new stadium, Chuncheon Stadium, was built in another place.

Chuncheon Songam Stadium

Newly established main stadium was opened in May 2009. It is used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity for 20,000 spectators. It is home ground of Gangwon FC since June 2009.

Gangwon FC association football club

Gangwon FC is a South Korean football club. Based in Gangwon Province of South Korea, Gangwon FC joined the K League as its 15th club for the 2009 season. The club is sponsored by High1 Resort.
