The Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria is an Oriental Orthodox Christian church based in Egypt, servicing Africa and the Middle East. The head of the church and the See of Alexandria is the Patriarch of Alexandria on the Holy See of Saint Mark, who also carries the title of Coptic Pope. The See of Alexandria is titular, and today the Coptic Pope presides from Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in the Abbassia District in Cairo. The church follows the Alexandrian Rite for its liturgy, prayer and devotional patrimony. With approximately 10 million members worldwide, it is the country's largest Christian denomination.

It is located near the Upper Egyptian cities of Tahta and Sohag, and about two and a half miles (4.0 km) south-east of the Red Monastery. The name of the monastery is derived from the colour of the white limestone of its outside walls. The White Monastery is architecturally similar to the Red Monastery.

Church of Sts. Peter and Paul—Catholic is a historic church building on State Street in Gilman, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1930 to serve a Polish-American congregation and designed in the Beaux Arts style by the Minneapolis architectural firm of Cordell & Olson. The first church was a log structure in 1872. It was known as the church of St. Wenceslas. Then a new church was built in the 1880s and was a frame structure known as St. Casimir's Church. The old log church was converted into classrooms. A new school building was built in 1909 and is present today. St. Casimir's church was destroyed by fire in 1891. A new and larger frame building was constructed for the new church. This church building stood north of the present brick building. The school building was completed in 1909. Fr. Vincent Wotzka as pastor had a brick rectory built in 1924. It was also designed by Cordelia and Olson. Sometime during these early years, the name of the parish was changed to Saints Peter and Paul. No reason has been found for the change. The church complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The church was built in 1926, and is an Italian Renaissance Revival style, brick, stone, and terra cotta church with a gable roof. It features a three-stage bell tower at the projecting center bay and Corinthian order columns. Also on the property are the contributing four-story rectory (1910), school, and convent (1914).
Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, also known as Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, is a historic church complex and national historic district located in the Lovejoy neighborhood of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The complex was built between 1912 and 1965, and consists of the yellow brick Byzantine Revival style, roughly 2-story church, a 1-story parish hall, a 2-story frame house that serves as a rectory, and a frame garage. The church has a cross-in-square type plan, and the front facade features two 3-story towers. It is the oldest Orthodox church in Buffalo and oldest in use in the Orthodox Diocese of New York and New Jersey.
