The Citroën DS Inside is a concept car which was unveiled by Citroën on February 5, 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show. [1] It is a prefiguration of the new luxury DS (Different Spirit) range of Citroën. The range will include three models, [2] the first one, the DS 3, is sold from May 2010 and it is derived from the DS Inside.

Citroën French automotive brand

Citroën is a French automobile manufacturer, part of the PSA Peugeot Citroën group since 1976, founded in 1919 by French industrialist André-Gustave Citroën (1878–1935). In 1934, the firm established its reputation for innovative technology with the Traction Avant. This car was the world's first mass-produced front wheel drive car, and also one of the first to feature a unitary type body, with no chassis supporting the mechanical components.

DS 3 supermini

The DS 3 is a supermini, produced by the French manufacturer Citroën since 2009 and officially launched in January 2010. This was the first car in the new DS range from Citroën. Its design was inspired by the concept car Citroën DS Inside.

This range of vehicle will share no common feature with and be in no way the successor of the legendary Citroën DS.

The Citroën Karin was a concept car presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1980. It featured a striking, pyramidal design and was designed by Trevor Fiore. The exterior of the car incorporated flush glass panels, faired rear wheels, and butterfly doors. The roof of the Karin was only the size of an A3 sheet of paper due to its truncated pyramid shape. One of the Karin's most noticeable interior features was the unique three-seat layout with the driver located in the middle of the two passengers.
