Beatrice Clugston (1827-1888) was a Scottish philanthropist. She was the daughter of factory owner John Clugston (1800-1850) and Mary Clugston (1796-1881), and her father left her with enough money to live on without having to work. She had a childhood illness, and never married.

Chynna Clugston Flores is a freelance American comic book creator known for her manga-influenced teen comedy series Blue Monday. Based in Coarsegold, Chynna has been drawing comics since 1994 and has worked with Oni Press, Dark Horse Presents, Double Feature, Action Girl Comics, DC Comics and several digital comics as an editor, penciler, writer, inker, colorist, letterer and cover artist. 

Katharine "Kate" Thatcher Clugston was a playwright, poet, and English teacher.

Legion of Super-Heroes in the 31st Century is a DC Comics comic book based on the Warner Bros.
