The College Hockey Association (CHA) is a collegiate club ice hockey league that comprises smaller colleges and universities and community colleges in Western Pennsylvania and Western New York. Every player in the CHA maintains the academic standards of at least the ACHA D-III level. However, membership into the ACHA is optional for CHA members. The league is operated and run by College Hockey East, and is most commonly known as the third tier of the Open League.

College Hockey East (CHE) is a mixed American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division 2 and Division 3 league for universities in the Western Pennsylvania region.

CHA Champions

St. John Fisher College

St. John Fisher College is a private liberal arts college in Pittsford, New York. Fisher is ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the Doctoral Research Universities (DRU), which reflects the college's growth in the area of doctoral program offerings. It is named after John Fisher (1469–1535), an English Catholic bishop, cardinal, theologian, and martyr, who presided over the Diocese of Rochester, Kent, England, and is venerated by Roman Catholics as a saint.

Canisius College Private Jesuit college in Buffalo, NY

Canisius College is a private Jesuit college in Buffalo, New York. It was founded in 1870 by Jesuits from Germany and is named after St. Peter Canisius.

Hilbert College

Hilbert College is a private Franciscan college in Hamburg, New York. The college is named after Mother Colette Hilbert of the Franciscan Sisters of Saint Joseph, who founded the school to train teachers in 1957. Hilbert College is a coeducational liberal arts college that currently enrolls approximately 800 students and grants both undergraduate and master's degrees.

Gannon University

Gannon University is a private, co-educational Catholic university in Erie, Pennsylvania. Gannon University has an alumni base numbering around 44,500. Current enrollment is 4,410. Gannon's intercollegiate athletics include 18 athletic programs for men and women at the NCAA Division II level.

Medaille College

Medaille College is a private liberal arts college in Buffalo, New York. The college's students largely come from the Western New York and Southern Ontario regions.

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) is a private research university based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1900 by Andrew Carnegie as the Carnegie Technical Schools, the university became the Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1912 and began granting four-year degrees. In 1967, the Carnegie Institute of Technology merged with the Mellon Institute of Industrial Research to form Carnegie Mellon University. With its main campus located 3 miles (5 km) from Downtown Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon has grown into an international university with over a dozen degree-granting locations in six continents, including campuses in Qatar and Silicon Valley, and more than 20 research partnerships.

University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg

University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, commonly referred to as Pitt-Greensburg, is a four-year, baccalaureate degree-granting, state-related university institution that is a regional residential campus of the University of Pittsburgh located in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States. Opened in 1963, Pitt-Greensburg was granted four-year degree-granting status in 1988. Pitt-Greensburg has been voted "Best University in the Region" for eight straight years (1999–2007) by the readership of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Case Western Reserve University university in Ohio, United States

Case Western Reserve University is a private research university in Cleveland, Ohio. Youngstown State University American research university in Ohio

Youngstown State University (YSU), founded in 1908, is an American research university located in Youngstown, Ohio, United States. As of fall 2010, there were 15,194 students and a student-faculty ratio of 19:1. The fall 2010 enrollment figure is the highest since 1990, when the number of students on campus was 15,454. The league was formed in 2006 after members of the now defunct University Hockey League organized the league and moved from the ACHA's Division II to Division I.

Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association

The Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference (DVCHC) is a collegiate hockey conference associated with the ACHA and independent women's university teams. The conference has men's teams that compete within divisions II and III of the ACHA and women's teams that compete in divisions I and II

Western Collegiate Club Hockey Association

The Western Collegiate Club Hockey Association (WCCHA) is a conference of men's club ice hockey teams from the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) competing at the Division II level. The participating teams come from colleges and universities in the Upper Midwest, including North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Teams in the WCCHA are primarily student-run sports clubs with limited University funding, requiring significant player dues and fundraising for team operation.

North Central Collegiate Hockey Association (NCCHA) was an ACHA Division III ice hockey league comprising smaller colleges and universities in Western and Northern Plains portions of the United States.

The Central Collegiate Women's Hockey Association (CCWHA) is a Women's Division I & II ACHA club level hockey-college athletic conference. The league currently has fifteen member teams from schools in two divisions located in the Midwestern United States.

Eastern Collegiate Womens Hockey League

The Eastern Collegiate Women's Hockey League (ECWHL) is an American Collegiate Hockey Association Women's Division 1 club level hockey-only college athletic conference for women's hockey teams. It is one of three ACHA Women's Division 1 conferences, along with the Central Collegiate Women's Hockey Association and the Western Women's Collegiate Hockey League. Primarily, the league has been concentrated in New England and Upstate and Western New York, with eleven of its thirteen members over fourteen seasons based in those areas.

Mercyhurst Lakers mens ice hockey

The Mercyhurst Lakers men’s ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association hockey team that represents Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania under Head Coach Rick Gotkin. The team is currently a Division I hockey team playing out of the Mercyhurst Ice Center located on the school campus. The Mercyhurst Lakers started out as a club sport at the school, moving up to Division III, followed by Division II, and now plays Division I in the Atlantic Hockey Association conference. After joining their step up into Division I in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in 1998, the Lakers have won their conference tournament making NCAA tournament appearances in 2001, 2003, and 2005.

Penn State Nittany Lions mens ice hockey mens ice hockey team of Penn State University

Penn State Nittany Lions men's ice hockey, formerly known as the Penn State Icers, is a college ice hockey program that represents the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to the 2012–13 season the program was designated a club sport and competed at the ACHA Division I level. PSU was previously a member of the Eastern States Collegiate Hockey League (ESCHL, although the team competed as an independent ACHA D-I member for the 2011–12 season before moving to the NCAA D-I level. They play at the Pegula Ice Arena in University Park, Pennsylvania.

The Lindenwood Lady Lions women's ice hockey team represents Lindenwood University located in St. Charles, Missouri. The Lady Lions currently participate in the NCAA Division I competition as a member of College Hockey America (CHA). The team played with no conference affiliation as an Independent program for its first season of NCAA competition. During the 2011–12 season, Lindenwood was accepted into College Hockey America (CHA) beginning in the 2012–2013 season. Prior to 2011 the university was a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), because the organization does not sponsor women's ice hockey, the program competed in the American Collegiate Hockey Association at the ACHA DI level.

Colonial States College Hockey Conference

The Colonial States College Hockey Conference (CSCHC) is a college ice hockey league based in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. The conference is part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 2 and is made up of ten teams from colleges and universities based in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

National Collegiate Hockey Association

The National Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) is a defunct national organization of men's college- and university-level ice hockey programs in the United States. The NCHA used to be known as the Collegiate Ice Hockey Association (CIHA) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Hockey (NAIH). The association was primarily composed of American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division III teams from the Northeast.

The Missouri State Ice Bears are a college ice hockey team, representing Missouri State University and based in Springfield, Missouri. The team competes in the Western Collegiate Hockey League, part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I.
