Constitutional Province of Callao is located in the central coast of Peru and is the only province by constitutional mandate with municipality and regional government, which belongs to the twenty-five regions. Its capital is Callao, the main seaport in the nation.

Lima Capital of Peru

On the east, the Callao district is bordered by the Carmen de la Legua-Reynoso as well as the Lima Province's districts of San Martín de Porres and Lima. The Bellavista and the La Perla districts are located to the southeast, while La Punta borders the district on the west. The Pacific Ocean borders the province on the west and south. Isaac Mekler Peruvian politician

Isaac Mekler Neiman is a Peruvian politician and a former Congressman representing the Constitutional Province of Callao for the 2006–2011 term. Originally from the Peruvian Nationalist Party, Mekler switched to the National Solidarity Party of Luis Castañeda in 2009. In the 2011 elections, he lost his seat he ran for re-election under the National Solidarity Alliance of former Lima Mayor Luis Castañeda but he was not re-elected.

Luis Giampietri Peruvian politician

Luis Alejandro Giampietri Rojas is a Peruvian politician belonging to the Peruvian Aprista Party and a retired admiral of the Peruvian Navy. Giampietri ran successfully as Alan García's first running mate in the 2006 general election, and was sworn in on 28 July 2006 and served until 28 July 2011. He was also elected as Congressman representing the Constitutional Province of Callao for the 2006-2011 term. He lost his seat in the 2011 elections when he ran for re-election under the Radical Change party, but he received a minority of votes and the Radical Change failed to pass the electoral threshold and subsequently lost its registration the following year. Before he served as Vice President and Congressman, Giampietri was a Lima City Councilman from 1999 to 2002, elected under the Fujimorist Vamos Vecino, close to-then President Alberto Fujimori.

Martín Pérez Monteverde is a Peruvian politician. He is a Congressman representing the Constitutional Province of Callao for the period 2006–2011, and belongs to the National Unity party. From 2009 and 2010, he was the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism during the Second Presidency of Alan García.

César Hinostroza is a Peruvian judge, lawyer, and fugitive who was a judge in the Peruvian Supreme Court from 2 January 2017 until his escape on July 11, 2018, in the midst of the political crisis in Peru. He is known for being involved in the CNM Audios scandal, a corruption scandal which led wh his escape. When he escaped on 17 October, he was arrested following a warrant by Interpol, put was provisionally released on April 11, 2019.
