Craig Johnson (author) American novelist and playwright

Craig Allen Johnson is an American author who writes mystery novels. He is best known for his Sheriff Walt Longmire novel series. The books are set in northern Wyoming, where Longmire is sheriff of the fictional county of Absaroka. The series debuted in 2004 and as of September 2018, Johnson has written 14 novels, two novellas, and a collection of short stories featuring Longmire. Some of the novels have been on The New York Times Best Seller list. In 2012, Warner Horizon adapted the novels for a television series.

Craig W. Johnson is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing the 28th District since 2006. He is currently serving as Co-Chair of the Resources Committee, Chair of the Cook Island Salmon Task Force, Vice-Chair of the Transportation Committee, and is a member of the State Affairs Committee, and the Fisheries Special Committee. He also serves on the Administration, Corrections, Fish & Game and the Natural Resources Finance Subcommittees, for the 26th Legislature. Before public office Craig Johnson was a press secretary for the Alaska State House Majority Caucus.

Craig Paul Johnson is an American politician who was elected as a Republican member of the Iowa State Senate's 32nd district in 2016. He defeated Democratic incumbent Brian Schoenjahn. He previously ran for election to the Iowa House of Representatives in 2014 for the 64th district. Johnson, born and raised in Independence, Iowa, is a financial planner and former sales and engineer manager.

Craig Johnson is an American football coach who is the running backs coach for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He was the quarterbacks coach for the Minnesota Vikings from 2011 to 2013. Prior to the Vikings, he was the quarterbacks coach for the Tennessee Titans from 2002 to 2009 and the running backs coach for the 2010 season.

Craig Thomas Johnson, is an American former professional ice hockey player who played ten seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 33rd overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft and went on to play 563 games in the NHL. He is best remembered as being the key player the Los Angeles Kings received in the Wayne Gretzky trade of 1996.
