Charles Richard Cuffe was an Irish cricketer. A left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper, he made his debut for the Ireland cricket team against the MCC in August 1936 and went on to play for them on 14 occasions, his last match coming against Sir Julien Cahn's XI in August 1939. Three of his matches for Ireland had first-class status.

The Paul Cuffe Farm is a National Historic Landmark on 1504 Drift Road in Westport, Massachusetts. The house was traditionally believed to be owned by Paul Cuffe (1759-1815), a prominent farmer and merchant of African American and Native American ancestry. Cuffe was active in promoting the idea of returning African Americans to Africa, making a voyage to what is now Sierra Leone in 1811 to support a fledgling colony there. The farm was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1974.
The Wheeler-Denny-Cuffe, later Denny-Wheeler-Cuffe, later Wheeler-Cuffe Baronetcy, of Leyrath in the County of Kilkenny, was a title in the Baronetage of Ireland. It was created on 30 December 1800 for Jonah Wheeler-Denny-Cuffe. He later assumed the surname of Denny-Wheeler-Cuffe and served as Mayor of Kilkenny in 1823. The second and third Baronet used the surname Wheeler-Cuffe only. The title became extinct on the latter's death in 1934. The third Baronet was survived by his sister Pauline Florence Elizabeth. The baronetcy was the last ever created in the Baronetage of Ireland.

Earl of Desart was a title in the Peerage of Ireland. It was created in 1793 for Otway Cuffe, 1st Viscount Desart. He had already succeeded his elder brother as third Baron Desart in 1767 and been created Viscount Desart, in the County of Kilkenny, in the Peerage of Ireland in 1781. He was also made Viscount Castlecuffe in the Peerage of Ireland at the same time as he was granted the earldom. He later sat in the House of Lords between 1800 and 1804 as one of the 28 original Irish Representative Peers. Lord Desart was the younger son of John Cuffe, who represented Thomastown in the Irish House of Commons between 1715 and 1727. In 1733 he was raised to the Peerage of Ireland as Baron Desart, in the County of Kilkenny.
