Dahanabad (Persian : دهن اباد‎, also Romanized as Dahanābād, Dahen Abad, and Dehnābād; also known as Rahnābād)^[1] is a village in Razmavaran Rural District, in the Central District of Rafsanjan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 537, in 116 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Razmavaran Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Rafsanjan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,512, in 1,794 families. The rural district has 15 villages.

The Central District of Rafsanjan County is a district (bakhsh) in Rafsanjan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 211,495, in 52,055 families. The District has two cities: Rafsanjan and Mes-e Sarcheshmeh.
