Dario Coates (born 25 April 1992, in Hebden Bridge) is an English actor. He is known for portraying Alex Neeson in the television ITV soap Coronation Street . [1]
He attended Calder High School and Calderdale Theatre School. [2] He acted in Calderdale Theatre School's production of the Philip Pullman novels His Dark Materials , for which he received acclaim from The Halifax Courier. [1] [3]
In 2016, he appeared in the BBC series The Coroner episode 2.4 "The Beast of Lighthaven" as Ben Fairhead. [1]

Mytholmroyd is a large village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Hebden Royd, in the Calderdale district, in West Yorkshire, England, 2 miles (3 km) east of Hebden Bridge. It lies in the Upper Calder Valley, 10 miles (16 km) east of Burnley and 7 miles (11 km) west of Halifax. The village, which has a population of approximately 4,000 is in the Luddendenfoot Ward of Calderdale Council.

Norris Cole is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera Coronation Street, played by Malcolm Hebden. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 11 March 1994. Hebden had previously played the role of Carlos, Mavis Riley's Spanish boyfriend, in one episode in 1974. Norris appeared on a recurring basis, until he was written out in April 1997 by Brian Park. However, two years later; the character was reintroduced on a regular basis. Hebden continued to appear on the soap until December 2017 after suffering a heart attack. Following his recovery, he made several guest returns, before his retirement from acting in January 2021 due to his health. The character was killed off-screen on 15 September 2021.
