David Neil Twohy ( // TOO-ee; born October 18, 1955) is an American film director and screenwriter.
Twohy was born in Los Angeles County, California. He attended college at California State University, Long Beach, graduating with a degree in radio/television/film.
His most notable filmmaking credits have been writing The Fugitive , starring Harrison Ford, and writing and directing Pitch Blackand its sequels The Chronicles of Riddick and Riddick , all starring Vin Diesel.
He has a cameo in Below as the British captain of the rescue ship.
