Deadlights is a three-song EP by the Norwegian black metal band Gehenna. This extended play was released upon their signing to Moonfog Productions. Gehenna released this as a preview of the change in sound of the band.

The first track, "Deadlights", was a song on their 1998 record, Adimiron Black . "In Mother's Tomb", the second track, was an outtake from Adimiron Black. The third track is the original version of "Master Satan".

Morningrise is the second studio album by Swedish progressive metal band Opeth. It was released on 24 June 1996 in Europe by Candlelight Records and on 24 June 1997 in the United States by Century Black. The recording sessions took place at Unisound studio, in Finspång, during March and April 1996, and once more the band used producer Dan Swanö. Morningrise was the last Opeth album produced by Swanö. It was also the last Opeth release with drummer Anders Nordin and bassist Johan De Farfalla.

Welcome to Hell is the debut studio album by English extreme metal band Venom. It was released in December 1981, through Neat Records, and recorded at Impulse Studios during the new wave of British heavy metal movement. Much of the material on the album was written prior to the bands formation, and was primarily written by vocalist and bassist Conrad Lant and guitarist Jeffrey Dunn. At the time, Lant worked as an assistant engineer and tape operator at Impulse Studios and managed to get the band studio time to record and release two demos in 1980, as well as the bands first single, In League with Satan / Live Like an Angel in April 1981. Following a positive reception and strong sales of the bands single, Venom were asked by Neat to record and mix all the material they had written in just three days. These re-recorded demos were hastily bundled together and would be released as the band's debut album, unpolished and with little production value.

Incipit Satan is the fifth full-length album by Norwegian black metal band Gorgoroth. It was released on 7 February 2000 by Nuclear Blast, and reissued in 2006 by Back on Black Records. Incipit Satan was the first album with King ov Hell as bassist, the last album to feature Tormentor on guitar and the only one with Sjt. Erichsen on drums. The band members dedicated the album to their deceased friend and former bandmate Erik Brødreskift.

Smile is the fourteenth full-length album by Japanese band Boris. The Hookers are an American hardcore punk band based in Louisville, Kentucky. Originally formed in Lexington in 1994 as the Fayette County Hookers, the name was shortened before their first independent release Kiss My Fuckin Ass 7-inch EP in 1996. Their first full length album, Satan's Highway, was released on Scooch Pooch records in 1998 and followed closely by the Listen Up, Baby! split LP with Electric Frankenstein in the same year. On various independent labels, The Hookers released two more full length albums: Black Visions of Crimson Wisdom in 1999 and Equinox Beyond Tomorrow Volume 1 in 2001. The band recorded the Blood Over Germany live album in 2001 on Century Media Records. After 2001, The Hookers were considered to be inactive as their heretofore intensive touring and release schedule was curtailed. Their song "The Legend of Black Thunder" was included on Tony Hawk's Underground videogame soundtrack in 2003. In 2008, the band put out an ersatz greatest hits record of live and unreleased tracks titled Ripped From The Crypt and once again became active with multiple EP and split EP releases. The Hookers toured in support of their fourth independent full length release, 2011's Horror Rises from the Tombs.

Years Past Matter is the fourth studio album by the American black metal band Krallice. It was self-released by the band as a limited edition CD on August 25, 2012. A vinyl version of the album was subsequently released by Gilead Media on March 19, 2013.

"In League with Satan" is the first song released by the English extreme metal band Venom. It was released on 19 April 1981 as a single with the B-side "Live Like an Angel" by Neat Records and later appeared on the band's first album, Welcome to Hell. The song has been cited as the first black metal song and is also often cited by critics who claim a connection between heavy metal and Satanism.
