Hyderabad is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Telangana and the de jure capital of Andhra Pradesh. It occupies 650 square kilometres (250 sq mi) on the Deccan Plateau along the banks of the Musi River, in the northern part of South India. With an average altitude of 542 metres (1,778 ft), much of Hyderabad is situated on hilly terrain around artificial lakes, including the Hussain Sagar lake, predating the city's founding, in the north of the city centre. According to the 2011 Census of India, Hyderabad is the fourth-most populous city in India with a population of 6.9 million residents within the city limits, and has a population of 9.7 million residents in the metropolitan region, making it the sixth-most populous metropolitan area in India. With an output of US$74 billion, Hyderabad has the fifth-largest urban economy in India.
Radio Kabul is the public radio station of Afghanistan. The name Radio Kabul has been given to many different incarnations of the state-run radio station since the first radio transmitters were installed in Kabul in the 1920s.

The Nizams were the 18th-through-20th-century rulers of Hyderabad. Nizam of Hyderabad was the title of the monarch of the Hyderabad State. Nizam, shortened from Nizam-ul-Mulk, meaning Administrator of the Realm, was the title inherited by Asaf Jah I. He was the viceroy of the Great Mughal in the Deccan, the premier courtier in Mughal India in 1724, and the founding "Nizam of Hyderabad".
CBLA-FM is a non-commercial Canadian radio station licensed to serve Toronto, Ontario, and primarily covering the City of Toronto, notwithstanding a much larger footprint. Owned by Entercom, its studios are located at Two Prudential Plaza in the Chicago Loop, while the station transmitter—diplexed with sister station WSCR—resides in the nearby suburb of Bloomingdale.
Asaf Jah VI Sir Mir Mahboob Ali Khan Siddiqi Bayafandi was the 6th Nizam of Hyderabad. He ruled Hyderabad state, one of the Princely states in India between 1869 and 1911.
Mir Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII, was the last Nizam (ruler) of the Princely State of Hyderabad, the largest princely state in British India. He ascended the throne on 29 August 1911, at the age of 25 and ruled the Kingdom of Hyderabad between 1911 and 1948, until India annexed it. He was styled as His Exalted Highness-(H.E.H.) the Nizam of Hyderabad, and was one of the wealthiest individuals of all time. On February 22, 1937, Time featured him on its cover as the world's richest person.

Hyderabadi Muslims, also referred to as Hyderabadis are an ethnoreligious community of Urdu-speaking Muslims, part of a larger group of Deccani people, from the area that used to be the princely state of Hyderabad in India in the regions of Marathwada, Telangana, and Hyderabad-Karnataka.
WTAG is an AM radio station in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is owned by iHeartMedia and airs a news/talk format. WTAG's studios are in Paxton and it broadcasts from a transmitter in Holden, Massachusetts. The transmitter operates at 5,000 watts day and night. WTAG programming is simulcast on FM translator W235AV at 94.9 MHz, licensed to Tatnuck.
WLLH is a commercial AM radio station in the Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts. The station is owned by Gois Broadcasting, LLC, and airs a tropical music radio format. There are actually two transmitters with the call sign WLLH. Both operate at 1,000 watts using non-directional antennas on AM 1400. One is in Lowell, and there was a synchronous transmitter in Lawrence, together forming the two Ls in the call sign. The station has shut off the Lowell transmitter and change the City of License to Lawrence.
KPOF is a non-profit AM radio station in Denver, Colorado. It is owned by Pillar of Fire and airs a Christian talk and teaching radio format. The studio and transmitter are in Westminster, located on the campus of Belleview Christian Schools in the historic Westminster Castle, just northwest of Denver. KPOF uses the moniker "AM91: The Point of Faith," and is a member of the National Religious Broadcasters, noted for non-profit religious and educational programs and music. KPOF considers itself the "granddaddy" of religious broadcasters, owned by a Christian organization since 1928.

KTSM is a commercial AM radio station licensed to El Paso, Texas. KTSM is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. and airs a talk radio format. The transmitter is in the extreme north end of El Paso, and studios are located along Mesa Drive in west central El Paso.
Telugu-language radio was first broadcast from AIR Chennai, Egmore on 16 June 1938 at 16 08:15 pm when the Madras state Prime Minister Kurma Venkata Reddy Naidu and Chief Minister C. Rajagopalachari delivered inaugural speeches. In 1933 a 200 W radio station, started by postal employee Mahbub Ali had gone on-air from Hyderabad, but in 1935 the Nizam of Hyderabad took control of it, and most programs were broadcast in Urdu. In July 1939 it was renamed as Deccan Radio, On 1 April 1950 the Government of India took control from the Nizam and operated it as Akashavani. AIR vijayawada started on 1 December 1948.
