Derek Wayne Youngsma is the drummer for the Orange County, California metalcore band Bleeding Through. [1] Formerly of Cast in Stone, Youngsma joined the band prior the band's second release 2002's Portrait of the Goddess . He replaced Troy Born after he left in 2002.

He is Christian, [2] straight edge [2] and married to his wife, Jessica. They have two children together, a daughter Zoe (born 2008) and a son Ezra (born 2010).

Bleeding Through is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California. Formed in 1999, the band blended influences stemming from modern hardcore punk, symphonic black metal, and melodic death metal. In 2004, Revolver magazine hailed Bleeding Through as one of eight bands ushering in the "Future of Metal" cover story, and Spin called Bleeding Through an "artist to watch" in the magazine's February 2004 issue.

Jordan Mancino is an American drummer who was born in Escondido, California. Mancino has played with several notable acts, as the official or as a live member, including As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, and Wovenwar. Mancino, alongside the rest of AILD, have stated that the band may consist of Christians but their music is not just for Christians.

Spencer Chamberlain American musician

Spencer Chamberlain is an American musician, best known for being the current lead vocalist for the metalcore band Underoath. Before fronting Underoath, Chamberlain was the vocalist for the band This Runs Through in which his brother, Phil Chamberlain, was the drummer.

Brandan Schieppati is the singer of metalcore band Bleeding Through and a former guitarist/songwriter of the fellow Orange County metalcore band Eighteen Visions, for which he played from 1997 to 2002. He is also a bodybuilder, personal trainer and "Rise Above Fitness" gym owner. He was strictly straight edge from an early age until his late twenties.

Nu-Clear Sounds is the second studio album by Northern Irish rock band Ash. It was released on 5 October 1998, through Infectious Records. Following the release of the band's debut studio album 1977 (1996), Nightnurse guitarist Charlotte Hatherley joined the band. They wrote new material at a farmhouse in the country, before going to Wales to record their next album at Rockfield Studios. Cosmic Egg is the second studio album by Australian rock band Wolfmother, released on 23 October 2009. It is the first album by the second lineup of the band, featuring vocalist, songwriter and lead guitarist Andrew Stockdale, bassist and keyboardist Ian Peres, rhythm guitarist Aidan Nemeth and drummer Dave Atkins, formed in 2009 after original members Chris Ross and Myles Heskett left in August 2008. Frontman Brandan Schieppati commented, "There are definitely places when we're traveling where every time we go there, we're like, 'Fuck, why do we have to be here?' Like, we'll be in France and all of a sudden we'll feel totally insignificant. You get the feeling that people's eyes are just burning a hole through you."
