Menudo is a Puerto Rican, Latino boy band that was formed in 1977 by producer Edgardo Díaz. Menudo was one of the biggest Latin boy bands in history, releasing their first album in 1977. The band achieved much success, especially during the 1980s, becoming the most popular Latin American teen musical group of the era and selling some 20 million records worldwide. Referred to as the "Most Iconic Latino Pop Music Band", Menudo has been ranked as one of the Biggest Boy Bands of All Time by several publications, including Us Weekly, Seventeen, and Teen Vogue, being the only Latin band on their lists.
Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler is a Spanish singer and songwriter. He started his recording career in the mid-nineties on Mexican indie label Fonovisa and became the bestselling Spanish-language act of the decade. By the turn of the millennium, he made a successful crossover into the mainstream English-language market. He signed a multi-album deal with Universal Music Group for US$68 million with Universal Music Latino to release his Spanish albums and Interscope Records to release English albums.
Lisa Jane Stansfield is an English singer, songwriter, and actress. Her career began in 1980 when she won the singing competition Search for a Star. After appearances in various television shows and releasing her first singles, Stansfield, along with Ian Devaney and Andy Morris, formed Blue Zone in 1986. The band released several singles and one album, but after the success of Coldcut's "People Hold On" in 1989, on which Stansfield was featured, the focus was placed on her solo career.
Dover was a Spanish rock band founded in Madrid in 1992. The group was composed of the sisters and group leaders Cristina Llanos (vocals) and Amparo Llanos, drummer Jesús Antúnez and bassist Samuel Titos. They recorded eight albums, selling around two million copies. They are known for their second album Devil Came to Me, which led them to international fame. In 2006, their sixth album, Follow the City Lights caused controversy as the style of the group changed from alternative rock to electronic pop. The band won, among other things, the revelation group awards at the 1997 Premios Ondas and the award for best Spanish artist at the 2000 MTV Europe Music Awards. The band was disbanded in 2016 by Amparo Llanos, who has since begun another project without her sister.
Guano Apes are a German rock band formed in 1994 in Göttingen. The band consists of Sandra Nasić (vocals), Henning Rümenapp, Stefan Ude, and Dennis Poschwatta.
"Hunter" is a song recorded by Icelandic musician Björk for her third studio album, Homogenic (1997). The lyrics explore the pressure Björk felt to write music after realising the workforce that depended on her, following the success she found as a solo artist with her previous studio albums. The song was first performed at the 1997 Tibetan Freedom Concert and later included with the online promotional release of Homogenic; the track was subsequently released as the third single for the album as three different CD releases in October 1998. A collaborative effort between Björk and Mark Bell, "Hunter" features a dark combination of strings and layered synths, a militaristic electronic beat, and enigmatic lyrics about the heading towards a mission.
Caramelos de Cianuro(Cyanide Candies) is an alternative rock band from Venezuela formed in 1991. They recorded their first songs, "Nadando a Través De la Galaxia" and "Tu Mamá Te Va a Pegar", in 1992.
Baccara was a female vocal duo formed in 1977 by Spanish artists Mayte Mateos and María Mendiola. The duo rapidly achieved international success with their debut single "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie", which reached number one across much of Europe and became the best-selling single of all-time by a female group, eventually selling more than 18 million copies worldwide. A successful follow-up single and European tour led to a number of album releases, numerous television appearances and the duo's selection to represent Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1978.
Miranda! is an Argentine electropop band formed in 2001. Original band members include Alejandro Sergi (vocals), Juliana Gattas (vocals), Lolo Fuentes (guitar), Bruno de Vincenti (programming), and since 2003, Nicolás Grimaldi (bass), while currently it's a duo between Sergi and Gattas. The group has found success throughout Latin America as well as in the United States and Europe.

Indira Radić is a Bosnian Serb pop-folk singer. She has established herself on the music scene of the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria and sings almost exclusively in her native tongue. In the period from 1992 to 2015 she released over 15 albums mixing pop/dance and traditional folk elements. This hybrid style, described as turbo-folk, brought her success throughout the region with songs like 'Ratovanje' that incorporated Indian elements.

"Move Over", also known as "Generation Next", is a song by English girl group the Spice Girls from their second studio album, Spiceworld (1997). The song was originally co-written by Clifford Lane with Mary Wood as a jingle for PepsiCo's "GeneratioNext" advertising campaign and used in television ads released in January 1997. Through Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, the Spice Girls signed an endorsement deal with Pepsi in early 1997, that consisted of the release of an exclusive CD single, TV commercials, on-can and bottle promotion and the group's first live concerts in Turkey.

Having built on their experience from the first album, the band also benefited from the assistance of Andres Calamaro in production. Mexican entertainer Paulina Rubio has released four video albums and has appeared in fifty music videos and three guest appearances. From her debut studio album La Chica Dorada (1992), she released music videos for the singles "Mío" and "Amor De Mujer", all directed by Ángel Flores and released from 1992–93. For the first of these, she earned an nomination ERES Award for Best Video. She followed with three other music videos from her second album 24 Kilates (1993), "Nieva, Nieva", "Él Me Engañó" and "Asunto De Dos", directed by Ángel Flores, Daniel Gruener and Tito Lara, respectively Rubio's third studio album El Tiempo Es Oro (1995) spawned the singles "Te Daría Mi Vida" and "Nada De Ti", whose music videos was directed by Carlos Marcovich. This was followed by Planeta Paulina's videos: "Siempre Tuya Desde La Raíz", a futuristic video with a concept cosmic and 70's dance, "Solo Por Ti", recorded in a barren desert of Mexico and "Enamorada", which tells the story of gay couple. The three videos was directed by Tito Lara from 1992-1997.
