Doug Post is an American politician. He is a Republican who represented the 7th district in the South Dakota House of Representatives from 2019 to 2021.
In 2016,Post ran to represent District 7 in the South Dakota State Senate,but lost the Republican primary to Larry Tidemann. [1]
In 2018,Post ran for one of District 7's two seats in the South Dakota House of Representatives. He and fellow Republican Tim Reed won in a five-way race with two Democrats and one independent candidate.

The 1968 United States Senate elections were elections for the United States Senate. Held on November 5,the 34 seats of Class 3 were contested in regular elections. They coincided with the presidential election of the same year. Although Richard Nixon won the presidential election narrowly,the Republicans picked up five net seats in the Senate. This saw Republicans win a Senate seat in Florida for the first time since Reconstruction.
