Louis Daniel Armstrong, nicknamed Satchmo, Satch, and Pops, was an American trumpeter, composer, vocalist and occasional actor who was one of the most influential figures in jazz. His career spanned five decades, from the 1920s to the 1960s, and different eras in the history of jazz. In 2017, he was inducted into the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame.

He was the co-founder of the Blue Star Line. Vestey had already been created a baronet, of Bessémer House in the Metropolitan Borough of Camberwell, in 1913. As of 2018, the titles are held by his great-grandson, the third Baron, who succeeded his grandfather in 1954. He is the eldest son of the Hon. William Vestey, only son of the second Baron. Lord Vestey served as Master of the Horse from 1999 to 2018.
John Ignatius Armstrong AC was an Australian politician and diplomat. He served as a Senator for New South Wales from 1938 to 1962, representing the Labor Party, and was a minister in the Chifley Government. Armstrong later served as Lord Mayor of Sydney from 1965 to 1967, and then as High Commissioner to the United Kingdom from 1973 to 1974.

Francesco Vecellio was an Italian painter of the early Renaissance, best known as the elder brother of the painter Titian. In his youth, he was a soldier. As a painter, he was mainly active in 1520-1530s in Cadore. In 1524, he signed an altarpiece for San Vito in Cadore. In 1540s, he painted a polyptych at Candide. In late 1540s he painted the organ shutters of San Salvatore in Venice. He painted an Annunciation for San Nicola di Bari, now in the Gallerie dell'Accademia.
Orazio Vecellio was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period, born in Venice around 1528. The son and pupil of Titian, he distinguished himself as a painter of portraits, some of which were thought little inferior to those of his father. He occasionally painted historical subjects; one of the most important was destroyed in the conflagration in the ducal palace at Venice. He neglected painting to devote himself to alchemy. He died of the plague in Venice, in 1576, the same year as his father.

The High Sheriff of King's County was the British Crown's judicial representative in King's County, Ireland from 1556, when King's County was created, until 1922, when the office was abolished in the new Free State and replaced by the office of Offaly County Sheriff. The sheriff had judicial, electoral, ceremonial and administrative functions and executed High Court Writs. In 1908, an Order in Council made the Lord-Lieutenant the Sovereign's prime representative in a county and reduced the High Sheriff's precedence. However the sheriff retained his responsibilities for the preservation of law and order in the county. The usual procedure for appointing the sheriff from 1660 onwards was that three persons were nominated at the beginning of each year from the county and the Lord Lieutenant then appointed his choice as High Sheriff for the remainder of the year. Often the other nominees were appointed as under-sheriffs. Sometimes a sheriff did not fulfil his entire term through death or other event and another sheriff was then appointed for the remainder of the year. The dates given hereunder are the dates of appointment. All addresses are in King's County unless stated otherwise.
