Eirene is a genus of hydrozoans in the family Eirenidae.
The genus contains the following species: [1]
Cuninidae is a family of hydrozoans in the order Narcomedusae. They have dome-shaped bells and tentacles set above the undulating margin of the bell. Their gastric pouches contain the gonads situated in line with the tentacles, the number of pouches being the same as the number of tentacles. The pouches do not extend below the points of origin of the primary tentacles. Members of some genera have a peripheral canal system and others do not. No radial canals or secondary tentacles are present.
Bougainvillia is a genus of hydroids in the family Bougainvilliidae in the class Hydrazoa. Members of the genus are characterised by having the marginal tentacles of their medusae arranged in four bundles. Some species are solitary and others are colonial but all are filter feeders. They are found in the Southern Ocean, having a circumpolar distribution, but some species also occur in the Northern Hemisphere, possibly travelling there as polyps on the hulls of ships.
Limnomedusae is an order of hydrozoans.
Corynidae is a family of hydrozoans in the order Anthomedusae.
Paul Lassenius Kramp was a Danish marine biologist. He is best known for his extensive monographs on jellyfish., Several marine taxa have been named in his honor.
Aequorea is a genus of pelagic hydrozoans in the family Aequoreidae.
Ectopleura is a genus of hydrozoans in the family Tubulariidae.
Corymorphidae is a family of hydroid cnidarians. For long placed in a presumed superfamily or infraorder Tubulariida of suborder Capitata, they are actually close relatives of the Hydridae and are now united with these and a number of relatives in a newly recognized suborder Aplanulata. Most, if not all species in this family grow on stalks and resemble small flowers.
Corymorpha is a genus of hydrozoans in the family Corymorphidae.
Ptilocodiidae is a family of hydrozoans in the order Anthoathecata.
Phialella is a genus of hydrozoans. It is the only genus within the monotypic family Phialellidae.
Octophialucium is a genus of Hydrozoan in the family Malagazziidae. The genus contains bioluminescent species.
Hybocodon is a genus of cnidarians belonging to the family Tubulariidae.
Lovenella is a genus of cnidarians belonging to the family Lovenellidae.
Cirrholovenia is a genus of cnidarians belonging to the family Cirrholoveniidae.
Amphinema is a genus of cnidarians belonging to the family Pandeidae.
Melicertum is a genus of hydrozoans belonging to the family Melicertidae.
Slabberia is a genus of hydrozoans belonging to the family Corynidae.
Zanclea is a genus of hydrozoans belonging to the family Zancleidae.
