Elmhurst is a Metra commuter railroad station in downtown Elmhurst, a western suburb of Chicago. It is served by the Union Pacific/West Line, and lies 15.7 miles (25.3 km) from the eastern terminus. Trains go east to Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago and as far west as Elburn, Illinois. Travel time to Ogilvie ranges from 39 minutes on local trains to 26 minutes on express trains, as there are some trains that go non-stop between Elmhurst and Chicago. Evening peak trains make the run between Ogilvie and Elmhurst in as little as 24 minutes. Some weekday outbound trains end their trips at Elmhurst.

He previously had been an equity partner at Katten Muchin & Zavis from 1982 to 1991 and Daniels & Faris from 1967 to 1982. Daniels served as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 46th District from 1975 to 2007, was Speaker of the House from 1995 to 1997, was Republican Leader from 1983 to 2003 and served as Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois from 1971 to 1974. Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church is a congregation of the Christian Reformed Church in North America located on the southern edge of Elmhurst, Illinois. It was founded in 1924 as a Baptist mission in Bellwood. The founder was a woman who had converted to Christianity after a difficult life in which she was won by her husband in a card game. After moving to Elmhurst in 1964, the congregation flourished and constructed a large new building just off of Roosevelt Road. It remains one of the largest congregations in the Christian Reformed denomination and runs many programs for children, students, adults, and seniors.
