DuPage County is a county in the U.S. state of Illinois, and one of the collar counties of the Chicago metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 916,924, making it Illinois' second-most populous county. Its county seat is Wheaton. DuPage County has become mostly developed and suburbanized, although some pockets of farmland remain in the county's western and northern parts. The county has a high socioeconomic profile and residents of Hinsdale, Naperville and Oak Brook include some of the wealthiest people in the Midwest. On the whole, the county enjoys above average median household income levels and low overall poverty levels when compared to the national average. In 2018 Niche ranked two DuPage municipalities amongst the top 20 best places to live in America.

Lee A. Daniels is an American politician who is an attorney, distinguished fellow and senior advisor to the President of Elmhurst College, and former Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives. Daniels practiced law from 1967 until he retired in 2006 from the Chicago law firm of Bell Boyd & Lloyd, where he was an equity partner. He previously had been an equity partner at Katten Muchin & Zavis from 1982 to 1991 and Daniels & Faris from 1967 to 1982. Daniels served as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 46th District from 1975 to 2007, was Speaker of the House from 1995 to 1997, was Republican Leader from 1983 to 2003 and served as Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois from 1971 to 1974. In February 2007 he founded Lee Daniels & Associates, LLC, a consulting firm for government and community relations. He serves on the board of directors for Inland Real Estate Income Trust, Inc., Oak Brook, Illinois, and the board of trustees at Kite Realty Group Trust, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church is a congregation of the Christian Reformed Church in North America located on the southern edge of Elmhurst, Illinois. It was founded in 1924 as a Baptist mission in Bellwood. The founder was a woman who had converted to Christianity after a difficult life in which she was won by her husband in a card game. After moving to Elmhurst in 1964, the congregation flourished and constructed a large new building just off of Roosevelt Road. It remains one of the largest congregations in the Christian Reformed denomination and runs many programs for children, students, adults, and seniors.
