Entre Nous is a 1983 French biographical drama film directed by Diane Kurys, who shares the writing credits with Olivier Cohen. Set in the France of the mid twentieth century, the film stars Isabelle Huppert, Miou-Miou, Guy Marchand, Jean-Pierre Bacri, Christine Pascal, Denis Lavant and Dominique Lavanant. Coup de Foudre means "love at first sight".

"Entre Nous" is the fourth track on the 1980 album Permanent Waves by progressive rock band Rush. It was also released as a single. The only live performances of the song to date occurred during the 2007 leg of the tour to promote Snakes & Arrows, an album released on May 1 of that year. It was then featured on the live album released on April 15, 2008.

Released as her debut single in January 2003 from the album of the same name on which it features as the first track, it allowed Badi to achieve success in France where it topped the chart, and was a top five hit in Belgium (Wallonia) and Switzerland. To date, it is her most successful single. As of August 2014, the song was the 15th best-selling single of the 21st century in France, with 584,000 units sold.

Permanent Waves is the seventh studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush, released in January 1980 on Anthem Records. After touring to support the band's previous album Hemispheres (1978) ended, the band members took a short break before they regrouped to work on new material. The album marked a departure in the band's musical style towards tighter song structures and songs more suitable for radio airplay. Permanent Waves was recorded in late 1979 at Le Studio in Morin Heights, Quebec and with co-producer Terry Brown and mixed at Trident Studios in London.

The Snakes & Arrows Tour was a concert tour by Canadian rock Rush to promote the studio album Snakes & Arrows. The first leg of the tour began on June 13, 2007 in Atlanta and concluded on October 29, 2007 at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. The 2008 portion of the tour started on April 11, 2008 in San Juan, Puerto Rico at José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum and ended on July 24, 2008 in Noblesville, Indiana at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. The tour was Rush's most successful to date, grossing nearly $65 million. At 114 shows, it is Rush's second-longest tour, after the Hemispheres tour.

Snakes & Arrows Live is a live double CD and DVD by Canadian band Rush. The CD was released on April 14, 2008, in the UK and on April 15, 2008, around the world. It was also released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 24, 2008. The material was taken from two performances during the first leg of the Snakes & Arrows Tour, recorded at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands on October 16 and 17, 2007. This is the first of the band's live albums since the Grace Under Pressure Tour to highlight one studio work specifically, with nine of the 27 tracks drawn from Snakes & Arrows.

Written by Patrick Guirao, who has previously worked for many notable artists, and composed by French pop singers Calogero and his brother Gioacchino, a former member of Les Charts, "Ça n'finira jamais" was released in mid-November 2008 and the B-side of the single is a new song, "Croire en l'homme", written by Kevin Roentgen from the band Orson, Oliver Leiber, and Pierre Yves Lebert, which is also included on the special edition album cd. The single went straight to number-one on the French SNEP Singles Chart, selling 13,893 units that week, thus becoming Hallyday's fifth and final number-one hit throughout his 48-year career.

Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage is a 2010 documentary film directed by Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn. The film offers an in-depth look at the Canadian progressive rock band Rush, chronicling the band's history and musical evolution. The film made its debut at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival, where it earned the 2010 Audience Award. The film was also nominated for Best Long Form Music Video at 53rd Grammy Awards, losing to When You're Strange, a documentary about The Doors. A limited theatrical run began on June 10, 2010, and the film was released on DVD and Blu-ray in the US and Canada on June 29 of that year.

Casimir Oberfeld was a Polish-born French composer. He worked on many film scores and also wrote popular songs of the 1920s and 1930s. Following France's invasion by Germany in 1940 during the Second World War, as a Jew Oberfeld faced increasing persecution. André Montagard was a French songwriter and poet. He wrote the lyrics to several songs, including Maréchal, nous voilà!, one of two national anthems during Vichy France. He published four poetry collections about Provence in the 1950s and 1960s.
