Eric Murray may refer to:

Eric R. Murray was a Canadian contract bridge player and co-founder of the Canadian Bridge Federation (CBF). He and his long-time regular partner Sami Kehela are considered two of the best Canadian players in the history of the game. The Eric R. Murray Trophy, named in his honour, is awarded to the open team representing Canada in the quadrennial World Team Olympiad.

Eric Claude Murray was a South African cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire in 1911 and for Transvaal between 1912 and 1923.

Eric Murray was a Scottish footballer, who played for Kilmarnock and St Mirren as a wing half. Murray was a regular part of the Kilmarnock side that won the Scottish league championship in 1964–65. Kilmarnock then played in the 1965–66 European Cup against Real Madrid; Murray was tasked with marking the Hungarian great Ferenc Puskás.

Murray is both a Scottish and an Irish surname with two distinct respective etymologies. The Scottish version is a common variation of the word Moray, an anglicisation of the Medieval Gaelic word Muireb ; the b here was pronounced as v, hence the Latinization to Moravia. These names denote the district on the south shore of the Moray Firth, in Scotland. Murray is a direct transliteration of how Scottish people pronounce the word Moray. The Murray spelling is not used for the geographical area, which is Moray, but it became the commonest form of the surname, especially among Scottish emigrants, to the extent that the surname Murray is now much more common than the original surname Moray.
