"EvilJ0rdan" (pronounce "Evil Jordan"; stylized in all caps) is a song by American rapper and singer Playboi Carti, featuring background vocals from DJ Swamp Izzo. It was released as a promotional track on January 15, 2024, exclusively on Instagram. [1] [2] It marks the fifth promotional single of Playboi Carti's upcoming third studio album, preceded by "Backr00ms" (featuring Travis Scott), which was released on January 1, 2024.

Background

On December 8, Playboi Carti previewed a snippet of the song featuring tags by DJ Swamp Izzo on his Instagram story. [3] On January 15, his backup dancer and experimental musician, Blackhaine would announce on Carti's Instagram story that he would be releasing a song that day, alongside an image showcasing the time of its release.

The song is about drug use. [4]
