Eyüpspor is a Turkish professional football club located in the Eyüp district of Istanbul. The team colours are lavender and yellow. They play at the 2,500 capacity Eyüp Stadium.

Eyüp fans have strong rivalry with Fatih Karagümrük and Beykoz 1908 fans and this causes big riots during the matches between those two teams.

The Süper Lig is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. Eighteen clubs compete annually, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promoted and relegated from, and to, the 1. Lig. The season runs from August to May, with each club playing 34 matches. Matches are played Friday through Monday.

As winners Fenerbahçe already secured a berth in 2012–13 UEFA Champions League through league position, the runners-up Bursaspor will enter 2012–13 UEFA Europa League in second qualifying round. By winning the cup, Fenerbahçe qualified for the 2012 Turkish Super Cup.
