The FIBA Africa Women's Basketball League is the highest continental tournament in African women's basketball. It is the counterpart of the men's basketball competition FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup. It is organized by the FIBA Africa and played by the champions of the leagues of the African countries.

The tournament was known as the FIBA Africa Women's Basketball Cup until the league rebranded in 2023. [1]

The tournament, organized by FIBA Africa, and hosted by First Deepwater, was contested by 5 clubs in a round robin system followed by a third-place match played by the 3rd and 4th placed teams from the preliminary round and a final played by the two top teams from the same round.

The 2012 FIBA Africa Under-18 Championship for Women was the 11th FIBA Africa U18 Women's basketball championship, played under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, the world basketball sport governing body and qualified for the 2013 World Cup.
