Fight the Sky was an American post-hardcore band from Sacramento, California, best known for being the heavier side project of Papa Roach lead singer Jacoby Shaddix. [1]
Fight the Sky was conceived in the winter of 2002 between long time friends lead guitarist Wade Khail, drummer Jay Ingram, and bass guitarist Ali Abrishami. Khail and Ingram had been long time fixtures on the Sacramento, California music scene, Khail a guitar tech for hometown nu metal band Papa Roach since 1997, and Ingram running Ascensive Marketing and Promotions, promoting many of Sacramento's bands, clubs, and music publications. Having known each other from shows around Sacramento- Abrishami, Khail, and Ingram began talking about forming a band. Light conversation turned to action in early 2002 with the three writing what would become their debut album Seven Deadly Songs. Working with longtime friend, vocalist, and producer Jacoby Shaddix (who originally used the name John Doe), the band entered the Velvet Tone Studios in Sacramento between the months of January and February 2004. The band had signed a record deal with Papa Roach's self-owned label El Tonal Records. Since recording the album, however, no news regarding the fate of the band nor a release date for the album have been released.
Old Friends from Young Years is the debut studio album by American rock band Papa Roach, self-produced and released on February 4, 1997. This album, along with their other independent demos, were released on the band's now defunct indie label, Onion Hardcore, so named because onion farming is a staple of Papa Roach's hometown, Vacaville, California. It was released on August 31, 2004, via Geffen Records and has been certified Gold in Canada, Silver in the United Kingdom and Platinum in the United States. This album earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. It is their best-selling album to date. To commemorate the album's 20th anniversary, Papa Roach got together and performed the album live in its entirety in studio to stream worldwide on June 20, 2020. The whole performance was released on YouTube on September 15, 2020.

Metamorphosis is the sixth studio album by American rock band Papa Roach. It was released by DGC/Interscope on March 24, 2009. The album was originally planned to be titled Days of War, Nights of Love, which is a lyrical quote from the song "No More Secrets" on the band's previous album, The Paramour Sessions. Subsequently, two songs on the album are titled "Days of War" and "Nights of Love". It is the first album to feature Tony Palermo on drums, who joined the band in 2007 after original drummer Dave Buckner's departure.

Time for Annihilation: On the Record & On the Road is the first live album by the American rock band Papa Roach. It was released on August 31, 2010. Jerry Horton said in a blog on the band's official website that they recorded it on the last run of the tour with Shinedown. Later, Jacoby Shaddix reported on the site that five entirely new tracks had been written and would be studio recorded and released with the Time for Annihilation album. The first single, "Kick in the Teeth", was released on June 22, 2010. The album's name is a lyric quote from the song "Crash" from the band's 2006 album, The Paramour Sessions.
...To Be Loved: The Best of Papa Roach is the first compilation album by American rock band Papa Roach. It was released on June 29, 2010. It was the band's final album with Geffen Records, after the band left for Eleven Seven Music. The album omits one of the band's biggest singles, "Between Angels and Insects", which was a top 20 hit in the UK. The band members themselves asked their fans not to buy this CD because they do not endorse this release, nor would they receive royalties for its sales.
