He was a crew chief at Front Row Motorsports for Eric McClure and Competition director at Rick Ware Racing.
Kyle Thomas Busch is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports. Busch is the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion and the 2015 and 2019 Cup Series champion. Busch is currently 9th on the all-time NASCAR Cup Series wins list and his dominance of NASCAR's three major series has him ranked as one of the greatest racing drivers of all time. Busch is also a one-time WWE 24/7 Champion. He is the younger brother of 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series champion Kurt Busch.

The RAPTOR King of Tough 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series stock car race held at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, a few miles south of Atlanta. This race had been Atlanta's lone Busch/Nationwide/Xfinity Series date until 2021 when a second race was added in July. Although it has been shuffled around the schedule several times, most years, it has been held at the beginning of the season in February or March.

The 2021 Credit Karma Money 250 was the 18th stock car race of the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, and the inaugural running of the event, when NASCAR decided to return to Atlanta for two races a year instead of the previous one. The race was held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Hampton, Georgia at Atlanta Motor Speedway, a 1.54 miles (2.48 km) permanent asphalt quad-oval intermediate speedway. The race was extended to 164 laps from the scheduled 163 due to a NASCAR overtime finish. In a historic 102nd win in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Kyle Busch of Joe Gibbs Racing would win his last race for the team. Jeb Burton of Kaulig Racing and Noah Gragson of JR Motorsports would score the rest of the podium positions, taking 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
