Gahvareh District

Gahvareh District (Persian : بخش گهواره) is a district (bakhsh) in Dalahu County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 20,576, in 4,600 families. [1] The District has one city: Gahvareh. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Gurani Rural District and Qalkhani Rural District.

A bakhsh is a type of administrative division of Iran. While sometimes translated as county, it should be more accurately translated as district, similar to a township in the United States or a district of England.

Dalahu County County in Kermanshah, Iran

Dalahu County is a county in Kermanshah Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Kerend-e Gharb. It was separated from Eslamabad-e Gharb County in 2004. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 42,310, in 9,665 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Gahvareh District. The county has three cities: Kerend-e Gharb, Shahrak-e Rijab and Gahvareh.
