The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition which has been organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) annually since 2003.
Belarus has participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in every edition since its inception in 2003 until 2020. The Belarusian Television and Radio Company (BTRC), then a member organisation of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), has been responsible for the selection process of its participants since its debut. The country hosted the contest at the Minsk-Arena in 2010 and again in 2018.
The participation of Serbia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest first began in Bucharest, Romania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006, having previously participated in 2005 as part of Serbia and Montenegro. Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) a member organisation of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) are responsible for the selection process of its entrants. Serbia used the national selection format broadcasting a show entitled Izbor za dečju pesmu Evrovizije for its participation at the contests between 2006 and 2010.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 was the sixth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is the world's largest song contest for children. It was held at the "Spyros Kyprianou" Athletic Centre in Lemesos, Cyprus and hosted by Alex Michael and Sophia Paraskeva. The theme of the event was "Fun in the Sun". It was won by the Georgian trio Bzikebi, with the song "Bzz..". Ukraine took 2nd place and Lithuania finished 3rd. Bzikebi also became the first group act to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The participation of Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest first began at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 which took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), a member organisation of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), have been responsible for the selection process of their participants since their debut. The first representative to participate for the nation at the 2007 contest was Mariam Romelashvili with the song "Odelia Ranuni", which finished in fourth place out of seventeen participating entries, achieving a score of one hundred and sixteen points. Since their debut, Georgia has never missed an edition of the contest, with three of these participations resulting in a win. These wins occurred in 2008, 2011 and 2016, making Georgia the most successful country in the contest, alongside France. They hosted the contest for the first time in 2017 at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi.
Georgia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 which took place on 22 November 2008, in Lemesos, Cyprus. Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) was responsible for organising their entry for the contest. Group Bzikebi was externally selected to represent Georgia with the song "Bzz..". Georgia won the contest with 154 points.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was the seventh edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was scheduled for 21 November 2009. 13 countries were confirmed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to compete in the contest.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the eighth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Minsk, Belarus. It was held on 20 November 2010. The contest was won by Vladimir Arzumanyan from Armenia with the song "Mama." This gave Armenia its first Junior Eurovision victory and its first victory in any Eurovision contest.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was the ninth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and took place in Yerevan, Armenia at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. It was the first time in history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that the contest was held in the previous year's winning country. Public Television Company of Armenia (ARMTV) was the main organizer and host broadcaster of the show, being provided financial aid from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) made of entrance fees from the participating broadcasters, while Swedish company HD Resources assisted with the technical side of the production.
Georgia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 which took place on 3 December 2011, in Yerevan, Armenia. Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) was responsible for organising their entry for the contest. Teen-pop group Candy was externally selected to represent Georgia with the song "Candy Music". Georgia won the contest with 108 points.

On 10 October 2012 it was revealed that the Funkids would represent Georgia in the contest with the song "Funky Lemonade".
Liza Japaridze, known professionally as Lizi Pop, is a Georgian singer, actress, model, dancer and television presenter. She represented Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta with the song "Happy Day" and co-hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi with Helen Kalandadze.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 was the fourteenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which took place at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, in Valletta, Malta. This was the second time that Malta have hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, their first being in 2014. Jon Ola Sand was appointed as the Executive Supervisor for the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, following the dismissal of the former supervisor, Vladislav Yakovlev.

Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) was responsible for organising their entry for the contest. Mariam Mamadashvili was internally selected to represent Georgia with the song "Mzeo". Georgia won the contest with 239 points.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 was the fifteenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It took place on 26 November 2017 at the Olympic Palace, in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. This was the fifth time that the contest was hosted by the previous year's winning country. The visual design and contest slogan, "Shine Bright", were revealed in May 2017.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 was the sixteenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by the Belarusian Television and Radio Company (BTRC) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It took place in the Belarusian capital city, Minsk on 25 November 2018 at the Minsk-Arena. It was the second time that the contest was held in Belarus, after it staged the 2010 edition at the same venue.

Georgia competed in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Paris, France. The children's talent show Ranina was used for the fourth year in a row to select Georgia's representative, Niko Kajaia, who performed at the contest with the song "Let's Count the Smiles". He finished 4th place out of 19 participating countries.
