Gerard is a Japanese progressive rock band.
The current members are :
Gerard is led by the keyboardist Toshio Egawa. After being a member of Rumble in 1976, Fromage in 1976, Scheherazade from 1976, which became Novela in 1979 after a line-up change, he founded Gerard in 1983 with Yukihiro Fujimura (vocals and guitar), Masaki Tanimoto (drums), and Yasumasa Uotani (bass). The band made several gigs before recording their first album in spring 1984.
The band released a second album in 1985. In 1986, their label King Records stopped supporting progressive music, and the band dissolved. Toshio Egawa joined the hard rock band Earthshaker.
In 1990, Toshio Egawa reformed Gerard with Yukihiro Fujimura, Toshimi Nagai (bass) and Kota Igarashi (drums) for the album Irony of Fate.
After musical divergences with Yukihiro Fujimura, Toshio Egawa released, under the name "Tohio Egawa's GERARD", a solo album called Save Night by the Knight, with Toshimi Nagai, Kota Igarashi and Taku Sawamura (guitar).
After Earthshaker disbanded, Toshio Egawa decided to reform Gerard in late 1994. He recruited Masuhiro Goto (drums) from Ningen Isu, Atsushi Hasegawa (bass), both musicians from the metal scene, and Robin Suchy (vocal). They released The Pendulum in 1996 and Pandora's Box in 1997, before Robin Suchy's departure. The band released the following albums as a trio, the vocal parts being sung by Masuhiro Goto and guest musicians.
In 2003 and 2004, Atsushi Hasegawa joined progressive keyboardist and video game composer Motoi Sakuraba for two concerts, as well as performing on music for the Director's Cut of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time .
In 2004, after the release of Power of Infinity, Masuhiro Goto left the band to join Ars Nova; he was replaced by Kenichi Fujimoto.
Since 2006, Atsushi Hasegawa and Kenichi Fujimoto have performed with the band Sound Horizon.

Judy and Mary was a Japanese rock band formed in 1991 in Japan by bassist Yoshihito Onda and vocalist Yuki, with drummer Kohta Igarashi and guitarist Taiji Fujimoto completing the lineup in 1992. Guitarist Takuya replaced Taiji the following year. The band is known for their innovative punk, rock, and pop meldings of noisy but melodic music in the 1990s.

Kimi Tsunagi Five M is the first studio album by Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation and their second major-label release overall, released on November 19, 2003 on Kioon Music. The album's name is sometimes given as "Kunkei Five M," but the reading "Kimitsunagi" is given in katakana on the original compact disc. Peaking at number five on the Oricon charts, the LP retained two successful singles, "Mirai no Kakera" and "Kimi to Iu Hana, and has gone on to sell over 250,000 copies. The album is also featured in a live studio recording which is included as a bonus DVD from the limited edition of future compilation, Best Hit AKG.
Luna Sea is the debut studio album by Japanese rock band Luna Sea, released on April 21, 1991, by Extasy Records. It sold over 30,000 copies by July 1992. After reuniting in 2010, Luna Sea re-recorded the whole album and released it on March 16, 2011, through HPQ.
Versus is the third, and second full-length album, by Japanese rock band Mr. Children released on September 1, 1993. The album debuted on the Japanese Oricon music charts at #3 and sold 802,140 copies during its run on the chart. Just like the previous two albums, Versus contains only one single released on July 1, 1993, titled "Replay" with another album track "And I close to you" also being included in Mr. Children's fourth single "Cross Road". Versus also marked the first time use of Takeshi Kobayashi as a writer and composer for Mr. Children.
Kurutta Taiyou is the sixth studio album by the Japanese rock band Buck-Tick. It was released on cassette and CD on February 21, 1991, through Victor Entertainment. The album was digitally remastered and re-released on September 19, 2002, with two bonus tracks. It was remastered and re-released again on September 5, 2007. "Speed", "M・A・D" and "Jupiter" were later re-recorded for the group's compilation album Koroshi no Shirabe: This Is Not Greatest Hits (1992).
Koroshi no Shirabe: This Is Not Greatest Hits is the first compilation album released by the Japanese rock band Buck-Tick. It was released on cassette and CD on March 21, 1992, through Victor Entertainment. All of the tracks on the compilation were re-recorded and contain different musical arrangements, because of this some argue that it is a studio or remix album. The album was digitally remastered and re-released on September 19, 2002, with a bonus track. It was remastered and re-released again on September 5, 2007. Koroshi no Shirabe: This Is Not Greatest Hits peaked at number one on the Oricon charts. It was certified gold in April 1992 has sold 340,000 copies worldwide since.

"Kimi no Machi Made" is a song by Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It was released as the fourth and final single of their second full-length studio album, Sol-fa, on September 23, 2004.
Trade Last is the fourth album of the Japanese rock group Show-Ya. The album was released on 4 February 1987 in Japan. All the lyrics were written by Yasushi Akimoto and half of the music by Kyōhei Tsutsumi. The musical arrangements were done by Makoto Matsushita.
"Watercolour" is the first single from the third album Immersion by Australian drum and bass band Pendulum. This song has been remixed by dubstep artist Emalkay and by progressive house artist deadmau5. The video was shot on 16 March 2010 at a studio in East London featuring around 70 fans as extras. A behind-the-scenes video was released on the official Pendulum website. The music video was released as a Myspace exclusive on 31 March.
Yukihiro Fujimura, is a Japanese guitarist, singer-songwriter, arranger and producer. Usually referred to by his stage name "Chachamaru", little is known about his early years and personal life. Besides being a member and collaborator with various bands and musical acts in the 80s and 90s, he is most known as being the lead guitarist and associate music producer for Gackt.
Yume Miru Uchū is the 18th studio album by Japanese rock band Buck-Tick, released on September 19, 2012. It is their first on their own record label Lingua Sounda, which was founded the previous year. The album reached the number 14 position on the Oricon chart and number 12 on Billboard Japan, selling 19,807 copies.
