The German Kart Championship is a kart racing series based in Germany, event ruled and organized by the Deutscher Motor Sport Bund.
The series is held annually on the most modern and largest outdoor karting tracks in Germany. The German Kart Championship is divided into four classifications: German Kart Championship (DKM), German Challenger Kart Championship (DCKM), German Junior Kart Championship (DJKM) and German Switching Kart Championship (DSKM).
Kart racing or karting is a motorsport discipline using open-wheel, four-wheeled vehicles known as go-karts or shifter karts. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits, although some professional kart races are also held on full-size motorsport circuits. Karting is commonly perceived as the stepping stone to the higher ranks of motorsports, with most drivers of the Formula One—including Sebastian Vettel, Nico Rosberg, Ayrton Senna, Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, Kimi Räikkönen, and Fernando Alonso—having begun their careers in karting.
KF2, is a kart racing class for top drivers aged 14 and up.
Bernd Robert Schneider is a German racing driver. He is a five-time Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters champion, and a Mercedes Brand Ambassador.
Oliver "Oli" Oakes is a British former racing driver, entrepreneur and team principal and director of Hitech GP. He was the 2005 World Karting champion, and was once a part of the Red Bull Junior Team.
Bas Leinders is a retired professional racing driver from Belgium. He was a Formula One test and reserve driver in 2004 for the Minardi F1 team, taking part in the Friday practice sessions during Grand Prix weekends, making 17 appearances in all. He is also a former British Formula Ford and German Formula Three champion, winning the titles in 1995 and 1998 respectively.

Filipe Miguel Delgadinho Albuquerque is a Portuguese professional racing driver, currently driving an Acura ARX-06 in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for Wayne Taylor Racing, and an Oreca 07 in the FIA World Endurance Championship for United Autosports. He has claimed a LMP2 class title at the 2019–20 FIA World Endurance Championship, an LMP2 class win at the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans, and overall wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2018 and 2021.
KZ1 is a kart racing class using 125 cc water-cooled two-stroke engines yielding approximately 46–50 hp (34–37 kW), equipped with a six-speed gearbox. KZ1 is the fastest of the KZ karting racing categories, and technical regulations are similar to KZ2 except that KZ1 allows for the gearbox to be either manual or electro-mechanical as well as the wise use of soft tires. Both engines and chassis must be approved by the CIK-FIA racing governing commission. It is open to top drivers aged 15 and over. Minimum weight is 170 kg (370 lb), this includes the kart and driver. They can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds. KZ1 has a top speed of 180 km/h (110 mph).
KZ2 is a kart racing class using 125 cc water-cooled two-stroke engines yielding about 52 hp (39 kW). The engines are equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. Z2 is the second fastest of the KZ karting racing categories, and technical regulations are similar to faster KZ1 except that in KZ2 the gearbox must be "hand-operated and exclusively mechanical without a servo system", as well as the use of medium tires. Both the engine and chassis must be approved by the CIK-FIA racing governing commission. The class is open to drivers aged 15 years and up with the minimum weight being 175 kg, this includes the kart and driver.

Yuji Kunimoto is a Japanese racing driver for Toyota Gazoo Racing who is currently competing in Super GT for Racing Project Bandoh and in Super Formula for KCMG. He is the champion of the 2016 Super Formula Championship and the 2010 Japanese Formula 3 Championship.
ADAC Formel Masters was an ADAC sanctioned open wheel racing series based in Germany, held annually from 2008 to 2014. It was replacement of the local Formula BMW championship. The first season was in 2008 and is the main feeder series to the ATS Formula 3 Cup. Like Formula Ford, French F4 Championship and Formula Abarth, the Formel Masters is aimed at karting graduates. In 2015 it was replaced by the ADAC Formula 4.
Armando Parente is a Portuguese racing driver. He won the 2008 ADAC Formel Masters season. Currently, he races in the Portuguese Championship of Sport Prototypes, teaming with Francisco Abreu, driving a Tattus PY 012 of Team Nova Driver.
KF1 is the top level of karting. It is open to drivers aged 15 and up.

Lucas Luhr is a German BMW factory racing driver, currently competing for BMW and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in the GTLM category of the Tudor United SportsCar Championship.
Dennis Olsen is a Norwegian racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Proton Competition and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for Dinamic GT. He has previously competed full-time in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters and Porsche Supercup, and is a former Porsche Junior Driver and former member of the Red Bull Racing Simulator Development Program. He was champion of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany in 2017.
Arjun Maini is an Indian professional racing driver, currently competing in the DTM. He has previously also competed in FIA Formula 2 Championship with Trident Racing, as well as Campos Racing.
