The Asian Girls' U18 Volleyball Championship is a biennial competition contested by the under 18 women's national teams of the Asian Volleyball Confederation as part of the Asian Youth Volleyball Championship.
Formerly, the championship was entitled Asian Girls' U17 Volleyball Championship, but in accordance with the FIVB Board of Administration Meeting on March 21–22, 2022 which announced to align the FIVB age group categories per gender to Under-19 and Under-21 for both genders, the adjustment of 2022 Age Group Championships has also been considered important for representative women’s age group teams from Asia to compete in the FIVB Age Group Championships in 2023.
Since the championships started in 1997, the tournaments have been won by two countries. Japan have won nine times including the 2022 edition and China have won four titles. The top 4 teams qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship.

The Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, commonly known by the acronym FIVB, is the international governing body for all forms of volleyball. Its headquarters are located in Lausanne, Switzerland, and its current president is Ary Graça of Brazil.
The Asian Volleyball Confederation, commonly known by the acronym AVC, is the continental governing body for the sports of indoor, beach, and grass volleyball in Asia and Oceania. It has 65 member associations, located in the Asia-Pacific region, but excludes four transcontinental countries with territory in both Asia and Europe – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, and Türkiye – along with Armenia, Cyprus, and Israel, which are members of the CEV.

At 2.03m, Yuan is the tallest player in the history of the Chinese Women's Volleyball Team. Her impressive height advantage allows her to have a formidable presence at the net, and she is widely considered one of the key players in the team alongside her teammates Zhu Ting and Zhang Changning.

The final tournament was held in Egypt from 5 to 14 September 2019. Egypt were chosen as the hosts for this event for the first time.

The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship will be the 18th edition of the FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship, the biennial international youth volleyball championship contested by the women's national teams under the age of 19 of the members associations of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. It will be held in Croatia and Hungary from 1 to 11 August 2023.
