Gunnar Berge (born 29 August 1940) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party,born in Etne,Hordaland. [2] Berge represented Rogaland in the Norwegian Parliament from 1969 to 1993. [2] He was Minister of Finance 1986–1989,Minister of Local Government and Regional Development 1992–1996,as well as minister of Nordic Cooperation 1992–1996. [3] After his political career he was Director General of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate 1996–2007. [2] He was also member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee from 1997 to 2002,as leader from 2000 to 2002. [2]
Abraham Theodor Berge was the 15th prime minister of Norway from 1923 to 1924. He was a teacher and civil servant who represented the Liberal Party,the social liberal party,and later Free-minded Liberal Party,a right-of-centre party.

Christian Krohg was a Norwegian lawyer and politician. He is mostly remembered for his activity in the years following the passing of the constitution of Norway in 1814. Krohg was the head of the recently-established parliament's constitutional committee in 1824 when it rebuked attempts by the king of Sweden-Norway to expand the king's constitutional powers,for which he was widely celebrated among the public. After his death,a memorial to Christian Krohg was inaugurated in Oslo on the 17th of May,1833 with an accompanying speech by Henrik Wergeland. The Krohg memorial would remain a focal point of Constitution Day celebrations until the 1860s. He was the grandfather of Christian Krohg,the painter.
