Hai Phong Port (cảng Hải Phòng) is a port group in Haiphong City, Vietnam, serving Northern Vietnam and future Kunming-Lao Cai-Hanoi-Haiphong Corridor. This is the leading seaport for northern Vietnam. This port system is under planning to handle ships up to 30,000-40,000 DWT. The new port will be known as Lach Huyen. Its construction will entail the creation of an island linked by a bridge to the mainland. There will be a new bulk terminal and three container terminals. [1]

Hai Phong railway station

Hải Phòng railway station is one of the main railway stations on the Hanoi–Hai Phong railway in Vietnam. It serves the city of Hai Phong and opened in 1902. It is also the terminus of the Sino-Vietnamese Railway, a French engineered narrow gauge railway completed in 1910, which was the first railway line to the Chinese city of Kunming.

Born and raised in Trạng Trình street in Haiphong, Dung Hà was a high-ranking member of the Vietnamese black society at the port city, and during her peak during the 90s, she and Năm Cam were considered as the two great powers of the Vietnamese underworld. On October 2, 2000, Dung Hà was assassinated under orders from Năm Cam, who had previously been in a feud with Dung Hà in Saigon. This event eventually led to the destruction of Năm Cam and his gang by the authorities, as Cam was later sentenced to death for ordering her murder.
