Hanzhong railway station is a railway station in Hantai District, Hanzhong, Shaanxi.

History

The station opened in October 1971 with the Yangpingguan–Ankang railway. [1]

On 1 October 2009, the refurbishment of the station began in preparation for construction of the Xi'an–Chengdu high-speed railway. [2] [3] This work was completed and the station reopened on 16 January 2013. [4]

Future

The under construction Hanzhong–Bazhong–Nanchong high-speed railway will serve this station.

Located in Chenggu County northeast of Hanzhong, it replaced the old Hanzhong Xiguan Airport, which could not be expanded due to its proximity to the city center. Construction commenced in late December 2011 with an estimated total investment of 580 million yuan, and the airport was opened on 13 August 2014.

The Lanzhou–Xinjiang high-speed railway, also known as Lanzhou–Xinjiang Passenger Railway or Lanxin Second Railway, is a high-speed railroad in Northwestern China from Lanzhou in Gansu Province to Ürümqi in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. It forms part of what China designates the Eurasia Continental Bridge corridor, a domestic high-speed railway corridor running from the city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu to the Kazakh border. The line is also shared with conventional trains.

Tianjin–Weifang–Yantai high-speed railway is a high-speed railway currently under construction in China. The railway will have a design speed of 350 kilometres per hour (220 mph). Weifang–Yantai section of the railway is expected to open in 2024 and Tianjin–Weifang section is expected to open in 2027.

The Second Chengdu–Chongqing high-speed railway is a 292-kilometre (181 mi) long high-speed rail line that connects the cities of Chengdu and Chongqing in southwestern China, with a maximum speed of 350 km/h (220 mph). It will head via Lezhi, Anyue, and Dazu. Construction started on September 26, 2021 and it is expected to open in 2027.

Fuyang railway station is a station on the Beijing–Kowloon railway in Fuyang, Anhui, and the largest station on this line in Anhui. It is also the terminus of the Fuhuai railway, Luofu railway and Qingfu railway. The station is one of the most important railways hubs of Anhui, served by about 90 trains a day and used by 9 million passengers a year.

The Tiandong–Debao railway is a railway line in Baise, Guangxi, China. The single-track line is 72.6 kilometres (45.1 mi) long. At its northern end, the line connects with the Nanning–Kunming railway. At its southern end, it connects with the Debao–Jingxi railway. The only station on the line that is open to passengers is Debao railway station.
