Hawes is a small market town in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England.

Hawes is a small market town and civil parish in Upper Wensleydale in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England, that was granted its market charter in 1699. Historically in the North Riding of Yorkshire, Hawes is located at the head of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales; the River Ure runs to the north of the town and is regarded as one of the honeypot tourist attractions of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is known as the home to the Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese.

Hawes Township is a civil township of Alcona County in the U.S. state of Michigan. At the 2010 census, the township had a population of 1,107.

Hawes railway station is a disused railway station that served the town of Hawes in North Yorkshire, England. It was closed in 1959 and now forms part of the Dales Countryside Museum. Since 2015, the museum has rented the building to a business operating a bike shop and later, also a cafe.

Ben Hawes Golf Course and Park is a park located just outside Owensboro, Kentucky, in Daviess County. The park encompasses 297 acres (1.20 km²), and was named for the former Mayor of Owensboro, Benjamin W. Hawes. It was acquired by the City of Owensboro in 1962. The Park opened Memorial Day in 1964. The City of Owensboro operated the golf course and park until 1980 when the property was sold to the Commonwealth of Kentucky to be operated as a state park. In 2010, the City reacquired the property.

Eller Beck is a small river in North Yorkshire, England, which flows through the town of Skipton and is a tributary of the River Aire. Its channel was heavily modified to supply water for milling in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and although all milling has ceased, the water now supplies power to the National Grid, generated by a turbine at High Corn Mill. There are several underground culverts within the town, and these contribute to the flood risk.
