Dagfin Huseby was a Norwegian wrestler. He competed in the men's Greco-Roman bantamweight at the 1952 Summer Olympics.

Gunnar Alexander Huseby was an Icelandic track and field athlete who competed in the shot put and discus throw events. He won consecutive gold medals at the European Athletics Championships in 1946 and 1950, becoming Iceland's first European champion in athletics. This placed him among the country's first top international sportsmen, following its independence in 1944. He remains the only Icelandic athlete to win two European athletics titles.

Magnar Gunnbjørn Huseby was a Norwegian engineer and politician for the Conservative Party.

Hans Majestet Kongens Garde

Hans Majestet Kongens Garde (HMKG) is a battalion of the Norwegian Army. The battalion has two main roles; it serves as the Norwegian King's bodyguards, guarding the royal residences and Akershus Fortress in Oslo, and is also the main infantry unit responsible for the defence of Oslo. The HMKG is located in Huseby leir in Oslo. Huseby leir is located on the old Oslo farm Nordre Huseby gård, which was acquired by the Norwegian government in the late 19th century.

Skiringssal was the name of a Viking Age hall which stood at a site now known as Huseby, about 0.73 miles (1.2 km) south-west of Tjølling, a settlement a little over 3 miles (5 km) east of Larvik, in the south of the Norwegian county of Vestfold. By extension the name also referred to the local bygd, or settlement area, and in the 15th century it was probably used synonymously for the ecclesiastical parish of Tjølling.

Røa Line

The Røa Line is a rapid transit line of the Oslo Metro, Norway, which runs from Majorstuen in Oslo to Østerås in Bærum. It serves neighborhoods such as Smestad, Hovseter, Huseby and Røa in northwestern Oslo, and Grini, Øvrevoll and Østerås in northeastern Bærum. The line is served by Line 2 of the metro, which connects to the city center via the Common Tunnel and onwards along the Furuset Line. The lowest part of the Røa Line, consisting of two stations, is shared with the Kolsås Line, and thus also served by Line 2 of the metro. The Røa Line is owned by Kollektivtransportproduksjon, and operated by Oslo T-banedrift on contract with the public transport agency Ruter.

Braathens SAFE Flight 139 aircraft hijacking

Braathen SAFE Flight 139 was an aircraft hijacking that occurred in Norway on 21 June 1985. The incident took place on a Boeing 737-205 belonging to Braathens SAFE that was on a scheduled flight from Trondheim Airport, Værnes to Oslo Airport, Fornebu. The hijacker was Stein Arvid Huseby, who was drunk during most of the incident. It was the first plane hijacking to take place in Norway; there were no deaths and no injuries. Huseby was sentenced to three years prison and five years detention.

Finn Moestue Huseby was a Norwegian priest. He graduated as cand.theol. in 1930. He worked as seamen's priest in New Orleans from 1931 to 1934, in Antwerp from 1935 to 1936, and in Hamburg from 1936 to 1942. He had to leave Germany because of a conflict with Nazi-friendly Norwegians in Germany, and assistant priest Arne Berge took over after him as the seamen's priest in Hamburg. He was parish priest in Brandbu from 1946.
