The ITU School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering was founded as an individual department in School of Mechanical Engineering in 1943. It was reorganized in 1971 as a separate school. [2] Faculty has its own library in addition to Mustafa Inan Library. [3]

Ateneo de Davao University Jesuit university in Davao City, Philippines

Ateneo de Davao University is a private Catholic basic and higher education institution run by the Philippine Province of the Society of Jesus in Davao, Davao del Sur in the Philippines. It was established in 1948 when the Jesuits took over the administration of the former diocesan school, St. Peter's Parochial School. The Jesuits renamed the school to "Ateneo de Davao" after taking control. The Jesuits were naming all the schools that they were opening at that time Ateneo. Ateneo de Davao is the seventh school in the country to be named as Ateneo by the Jesuits. The university has five undergraduate schools, namely the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and Governance, School of Engineering and Architecture, School of Education and the School of Nursing. The graduate programs are under these units as well. The College of Law is a separate unit within the university. University of Jordan

The University of Jordan, often abbreviated UJ, is a public university located in Amman, Jordan. Founded in 1962 by royal decree, it is the largest and oldest institution of higher education in Jordan. It is located in the capital Amman in the Jubaiha area of the University District. The Royal School of Library and Information Science is a school under the University of Copenhagen that provides higher education in the field of library and information science. It has now merged with another department to Department of Communication. It is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a member of iSchools, a consortium directed to understanding the role of information in nature and human culture. There has also been a location in Aalborg, however this campus was shut down in the summer of 2017.

The Cal Poly Pomona College of Environmental Design (CENV) is a college part of the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. The college houses over 1,600 students; making it one of largest environmental design programs in the United States. The college offers bachelor's degrees in five departments, as well as three master's degree programs. It offers a Master of Interior Architecture, professional degree in collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

In 1926, the “Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering” was founded as part of the Science Faculty of Istanbul University. In 1934, the institute was bound to “Yüksek Mühendis Mektebi”, today’s Istanbul Technical University, as the Electro-Mechanic Division, which was the start of Department of Electrical Engineering. The first students of this division graduated in 1936. Today, the faculty has three departments: Power engineering, Electronics and telecommunications engineering, Control engineering

ITU School of Civil Engineering is the first faculty of Istanbul Technical University. Its foundation date is considered as the starting of the engineering education in Ottoman Empire. Faculty has three divisions.

ITU School of Architecture

ITU School of Architecture, is the first institution in Ottoman Empire that educate students about architecture. Department of Architecture is substantially equivalent to the programs in the United States. Famous architectures such as Ord. Prof. Emin Onat, Prof. Paul Bonatz, Prof. Said Kuran, Prof. Mukbil Gökdoğan, Prof. Kemal Ahmet Aru, Prof. Clemens Holzmeister, Prof. Gustav Olsner, Prof. Rudolf Belling, Prof. Orhan Arda was the members of School of Architecture. School of Architecture is in Taşkışla building, in Beyoğlu and has five departments:

The ITU Mustafa Inan Library was a printing house was established in 1795 at the first engineering school ever to be opened in Halıcıoğlu under the name of Mühendishane-i Berri Hümayun. The books published here constituted the core of the ITU Library. ITU libraries, located in Maslak campus, Istanbul, have approximately 500,000 volumes of books periodicals, and dissertations. The number of subscription periodicals is 1,300. A part of the library is open 7 day/24 hours. There are libraries in other campuses of ITU: Ratip Berker Library in School of Mechanical engineering, Macka library, Taskisla library and Tuzla library. In addition to these general purpose libraries there is a music library in Macka campus for Turkish Music State Conservatory.

ITU School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, founded in 1983, is the 11th school of Istanbul Technical University. Three departments were engaged to the faculty, which are Aeronautical Engineering, Astronautical engineering, and Meteorological Engineering. Aeronautical Engineering Department was established as a branch training aeronautical engineers in the Mechanical Engineering Faculty in 1941, and then in 1944 became a department of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty. Meteorological Engineering Department was established in 1953 in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. It is the only Meteorological Engineering department in Turkey.

Sejong University

Sejong University is a private university located in Seoul, South Korea known for its standing in hospitality and tourism management, dancing, animation and rhythmic gymnastics. Founded as the Kyung Sung Humanities Institute, it was renamed in 1978 to its present name in honor of Sejong the Great, the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty and overseer of the creation of the Korean alphabet Hangul.

Faculty of Classics, University of Oxford
