Impaled is a death metal band from Oakland, California. The band's name is a backronym, standing for "Immoral Medical Practitioners And Licentious Evil-Doers".

Cephalic Carnage is an American deathgrind band formed in Denver, Colorado in 1992. The band comprises vocalist Lenzig Leal, guitarists Steve Goldberg and Brian Hopp, drummer John Merryman and bassist Nick Schendzielos. Cephalic Carnage has released six studio albums and toured in North America, Europe and Japan.

Gang Green is a rock band originally from Braintree, Massachusetts. Chris Doherty (guitar), Bill Manley (bass) and Mike Dean (drums) started the band in 1980 and broke up in 1983. Doherty reformed Gang Green the following year, and band experienced numerous lineup changes until its dissolution for the second time in 1992. Doherty has been the band’s only constant member, and has kept Gang Green active from 2005 onwards. The band was influential in the formation of the East Coast hardcore scene and went on to become one of the forerunners of crossover thrash and speed metal in the late 1980s.

Conforming to Abnormality is Cephalic Carnage's first full-length album. It was first released in 1998 on Italy's Headfucker Records. In 2002 the album was re-released on Hybrid Records. In 2006 Subordinate Records from Italy re-released the album without the band's permission on CD and LP. In 2008, the album was remixed, remastered, and repackaged, and had 20 bonus tracks added. This version was released by Relapse Records on April 29, 2008. The bonus tracks come from the band's split with Anal Blast, plus a new song sung by former bassist Jawsh Mullen.

Post Mortem was an American death metal band, formed in 1982 in suburban Boston. They formed when the members of the band were still in high school. The band rehearsed every day, often rushing home to write music after classes. John McCarthy penned the personal songs while drummer Rick McIver wrote the gore lyrics. John Alexander helped write most of the songs. “Our whole concept was that we honestly didn’t give a fuck. Xenosapien was recorded from December 2006 to February 2007.

<i>Misled by Certainty</i> 2010 studio album by Cephalic Carnage

Misled by Certainty is the sixth studio album by the Colorado-based deathgrind band Cephalic Carnage. It was released on August 31, 2010, through Relapse Records. Misled by Certainty sold 1300 copies in the United States in its first week, appearing at the #24 position on Billboard Heatseekers. This is the first album with Brian Hopp as a guitarist. In support of this album, Cephalic Carnage toured Europe during September and October 2010; for this tour, called the "Initiation of the Misled European Tour 2010", Cephalic Carnage performed alongside Psycroptic, Ion Dissonance, Hour of Penance, and Dyscarnate. Four vlogs of the recording process for this album have been posted online.

Impaler is a Minnesota horror rock band from the Twin Cities. Impaler formed in the spring of 1983 with founding members Bill Lindsey (vocals), Michael James Torok (guitar), "Commander" Court Hawley (bass), Robert "Meaty Bob" Johnson (drums), and Mike Senn (guitar). The band played original songs sprinkled with a few covers by favorite influential bands such as Kiss, Alice Cooper, and Motörhead. Bill Lindsey is the sole continuing member of Impaler, keeping the band alive for over 30 years.

Antagony is an American extreme metal band from the Bay Area of California, formed in 1998, disbanded in 2009, and reformed in 2019. Because they formed much earlier than their peers, Antagony is considered by many to be the pioneers of deathcore. Antagony has released three albums, each on a different record label. Members of Antagony have gone on to form bands such as Oblivion, All Shall Perish.

Horned Almighty is a Danish Black metal band. The band was formed by S. and Hellpig out of the ashes of their former band Mareridt (1995-2000). After a year of using programmed drums, Harm was recruited into the band in 2003. Luger and Aries joined in 2005.

Leon del Muerte is a musician living in Portland, Oregon. He is a founding member, guitarist and vocalist of the band Murder Construct, guitarist in Terrorizer LA, guitarist in Nails, vocalist in Impaled, and was previously involved with the bands Exhumed, Nausea LA, Intronaut, Phobia, and Artificium Sanguis.
