Indian Creek is a stream in Marion County, Indiana, in the United States. [1] It is a tributary of Fall Creek.

Marion County is a county in the U.S. state of Indiana. Census 2010 recorded a population of 903,393, making it the largest county in the state and 55th most populated county in the country, greater than the population of six states. Fall Creek (Indiana)

Fall Creek is a navigable in law waterway in the U.S. state of Indiana, and a tributary of the White River. It is 57.5 miles (92.5 km) long and has a watershed drainage area of 318 square miles (820 km2) in central Indiana before flowing into the White River in Indianapolis. As it flows southwest, Fall Creek is the namesake of three townships in Indiana, in Henry County, Madison County, and then Hamilton County.

Indian Creek was so named from the fact that Native Americans used the area as a camping ground. [2]

A 60-acre (24 ha) reservoir named Indian Lake was created by the construction of a dam on the creek in 1929.

Indian Lake is a reservoir in Marion County in central Indiana in the United States. It is approximately 5 mi (8 km) northeast of Indianapolis. It was created in 1929 by damming Indian Creek, a tributary to Fall Creek.
