inter.funda.stifle is the second full-length album by alternative rock band Fair to Midland. Tracks including "Dance of the Manatee," "Vice/Versa," "A Seafarer's Knot," "The Walls of Jericho," "Kyla Cries Cologne," "When the Bough Breaks" and "Upgrade^Brigade" were re-recorded for their later album and major label debut, Fables from a Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True.

The album features four instrumental songs as independent tracks: "Preambles in 3rd Person," "Cipieron," "Inter.Mission" and "When the Bough Breaks." All of them except for "Preambles in 3rd Person" were re-recorded and used later as instrumental segues for their major debut album.

Reissue

It was announced on July 23, 2009 that Fair to Midland is reissuing the release exclusively through their band merchandise site upon its creation. [4] It was reissued on August 18, 2009 from the band's newly launched merchandise site. [5] They announced that it would be a very limited reissue of about 1000 copies, the first 100 being signed by the band.

Fair to Midland was an American progressive rock band based in Dallas, Texas. According to the band's official website, their name comes from "…an old Texan play on the term 'fair to middling'." The band produced two self-released albums before signing to Serjical Strike, System of a Down's Serj Tankian's vanity label at Universal Republic. There, they released their only major record label album, Fables from a Mayfly, in 2007. While the album broke into the Billboard 200, they eventually parted ways with Serjical Strike and later released their fourth album, Arrows and Anchors in July 2011. Tentative plans for a fifth album had been discussed at the end of the Arrow and Anchors touring cycle, but the band became inactive in 2013.

Arrows and Anchors is the fourth and final studio album by the Texas progressive rock band Fair to Midland, released on July 12, 2011, by E1 Music in North America. Welcome to the Dirt, also known as "For Us By Us", is Texas progressive rock band Fair to Midland's first DVD release. It consists mainly of a collage of fan footage of the band's performances. The DVD was released exclusively through the band's official website in November, and was also offered together with re-releases of the band's first two independent albums, inter.funda.stifle and The Carbon Copy Silver Lining. The release helped to fund a professional recording of the band's performance that took place on December 17, 2011 in Flint, Michigan, "Live at the Machine Shop", which resulted in the latter DVD release.

Live at the Machine Shop, is Texas progressive rock band Fair to Midland's first professionally filmed DVD release. It consists of footage of the band's show in Flint, Michigan, performed on December 17, 2011, as well as pre-show and post-show footage and fan interviews. It was distributed exclusively through the band's website.

Live at Andy's Bar is the third DVD release by the Texas progressive rock band Fair to Midland, released in 2012. It consists of footage of the band's acoustic show in Andy's Bar, performed on March 31, 2012, as well as behind-the-scenes footage and acoustic studio renditions recorded for the Violitionist Sessions following the release of Arrows and Anchors. It is distributed exclusively through the band's website as a DVD/CD package.
