Ishola Oyenusi

Ishola Oyenusi (died 8 September 1971), popularly known as Dr. Ishola, was a notorious Nigerian armed robber who was active during the 1970s. [1] His modus operandi was carjackings, bank robberies and heists committed during hold-ups. [2]

Trial and execution

Oyenusi together with six other members of his gang were executed on 8 September 1971 by a combined police and armed forces firing brigade. [3] His execution was caught on film.

The Texas 7 were a group of prisoners who escaped from the John B. Connally Unit near Kenedy, Texas, on December 13, 2000. Six of the seven were apprehended over a month later, between January 21–23, 2001, as a direct result of the television show America's Most Wanted. One of them committed suicide before he could be arrested. The six surviving members were all convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of Irving, Texas police officer Aubrey Wright Hawkins, who was shot and killed when responding to a robbery perpetrated by the Texas Seven. Four of the six sentenced have since been executed.

Ronald and James Allridge Executed American serial killers

Ronald Keith Allridge and James Vernon Allridge III were American brothers and murderers who killed three people and committed numerous armed robberies in Fort Worth, Texas during a crime spree in early 1985. At the time, Ronald had been recently released from prison for a 1976 murder committed when he was only 15.
