Jamiatur Rasheed, Karachi, also known as Kulya-tush-Shariah, Jamia-tur-Rasheed, is an Islamic institution situated in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Mufti Rasheed Ahmed Ludhianwi has established the Jamiah. [1] It is an institution of religious studies. Jamiatur Rasheed, Karachi gives education without charging any fee instead students are given monthly stipend. [2]

The education system of the Jamiah is arranged into the following categories:

Long Courses:

These persist throughout the educational year (lasting from the Islamic month of Shawwal till Rajab) and include the following:

i. Specialization in Fatwa
ii. Specialization in teaching
iii. Arabic Language Course
iv. English Language Course
v. Urdu Journalism Course
Short Courses:

These courses are taught at appropriate times for a certain period during the educational year or during vacations. These courses vary in duration, including mostly non-curricular activities.

Jamia Binoria is an international Deobandi Islamic educational institute in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is regarded as one of the most modern madrassas. It should not be confused with the Jamia Uloom-ul-Islamia madrassa in Binori Town, Karachi.

Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama translated to English as House of Knowledge & Assembly of Scholars University is an Islamic institution at Lucknow, India, which draws large number of Muslim students from all over the world. Nadwatul Ulama fosters a diverse range of both scholars and students including Hanafis, Shafi'is and Ahl al-Hadith. Additionally it is one of very few institutes in the region to teach the Islamic Sciences completely in Arabic.

Ebrahim Desai South African imam

Mufti Ebrahim Desai is a prominent South African Mufti of Indian origin- and a teacher of Islamic law. He is based in Durban, Sherwood, South Africa. He runs the fatwa website Ask Imam, an online Islamic questions and answers database of Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah. Previously, he used to head the Dar al-Ifta of Madrasah In'aamiyyah. He was the principal mufti and once the senior lecturer of Hadith there. He is currently the senior lecturer of Hadith at Darul Uloom Nu'maniyyah, Chatsworth, KZN and Madrasah Hameediyyah, Durban, KZN.

Jamia Uloom-e-Islamia is an Islamic School situated in Banoori Town, Karachi, Pakistan. The school continues the tradition of the Darul Uloom system initiated by Darul Uloom Deoband. As of 2007, there are about twelve thousand students in different departments of the Jamiah and its branches, including a number of foreign students from over sixty countries all over the world.

Ahsan-Ul-Uloom

Jamiah Arabia Ahsan-Ul-Uloom is an international Sunni Islamic educational institute located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is regarded as one of the most established Islamic institutes in Pakistan and has a huge following among both Islamic scholars and public. It mainly focuses on teaching Classical Arabic, Islamic theology and Hanafi jurisprudence fiqh by preparing scholars and experts in those fields through intensive Islamic law courses. It is known for following a strict code of refraining from innovations deemed unacceptable in Islam. Jamiah Ahsan-ul-Uloom was founded by Maulana Mufti Zar Wali Khan in 1398 A.H.. It is affiliated to Ittehad Tanzeematul Madaris-e-Deeniya (ITMD), a confederacy of five religious education boards. On 3 December 2012 its teacher of Daura hadith class Maulana Ismail was killed by unknown persons at Abul Hasan Asfani Road.

Jamiah Darul Uloom Zahedan is the largest and highest seat of Deobandis in Iran. Maulana Abdolazeez, son of Mojahid Sheikh Abdollah, founded the Jamiah.

Muhammad Shafi Deobandi Sunni Deobandi Islamic scholar

Muḥammad Shafī‘ ibn Muḥammad Yāsīn ‘Us̱mānī Deobandī, often referred to as Mufti Muhammad Shafi, was a Pakistani Sunni Islamic scholar of the Deobandi school of Islamic thought. A Hanafi jurist and mufti, he was also an authority on shari'ah, hadith, tafsir, and tasawwuf (Sufism). Born in Deoband, British India, he graduated in 1917 from Darul Uloom Deoband, where he later taught hadith and held the post of Chief Mufti. He resigned from the school in 1943 to devote his time to the Pakistan Movement. After the independence he moved to Pakistan, where he established Darul Uloom Karachi in 1951. Of his written works, his best-known is Ma'ariful Qur'an, a tafsir of the Qur'an.

Jamiah Islamiah Talimuddin Dabhel, popularly known as Dabhel Jamiah Islamiah or Jamiah Islamiah Dabhel, is one of the historical institutions of higher Islamic education in the sub-continent. Maulana Ahmed Hasan Bham, student of Maulana Ahmad Miya Lajpuri established the Jamia in 1908 A.D. It is situated at Dabhel, surat, India.

Jamiah Farooqia, Karachi

Jamiah Farooqia, Karachi is one of the notable Islamic institutions of Pakistan. The Jamiah was established in 1967. At present, there are 2300 students enrolled in the different educational sections. Jamiah Farooqia provides its students, tuition, books, food, lodging, medical care, and other facilities without charging a single unit of currency for them. All expenses are met through donations and charitable gifts from Muslim Ummah.

Jamiatul Qasim Darul Uloom -il-Islamia is an Islamic seminary in India. The Jamia was established by Mufti Mahfoozur Rahman Usmani, an Islamic scholar of India, in 1989, Indo-Nepal border, Bihar. There are 15 Qur'anic centres under the supervision of Jamiatul Qasim Darul Uloom -il-Islamia and 25 branches of the Jamia spread over the state of Bihar.

Jamia Luthfia Anwarul Uloom Hamidnagar

Jamia Luthfia Anwarul Uloom Hamidnagar, also known as Boruna Madrasah, is one of the oldest and famous Qawmi Madrasahs in Moulvibazar, Bangladesh. In 1941, a disciple and Caliph of the pioneer of Darul Uloom Deoband Shaikhul Hadith Syed Hussain Ahmed Madani (R:), Hazrat Maulana Shaykh Luthfur Rahman Bornabi (R:) established "Jamia Lutfia Anwarul Uloom Hamidnagar". There are 1500 students at present acquiring religious and worldly knowledge with full care and attention and 55 well qualified teachers who teach and monitor student progress. The Jamiah is progressing day by day.

Mufti Abdur Rahman Bangladeshi Bangladeshi Islamic scholar

Abdur Rahman (1920-2015), also known as Faqihul Millat, was a Bangladeshi Islamic scholar of the Deobandi school of Islamic thought. He was born in Imam Nagar, Fatikchhari, Chittagong, in 1920. He was the founder director of Islamic Research Center Bangladesh, Dhaka.

Mizanur Rahman Sayed Islamic scholar

Mufti Mizanur Rahman Sayed is an Islamic scholar Of Bangladesh. He was one of the five Ulema selected by Islamic Foundation Bangladesh as Fatwa interpreters.

Mahmood Hasan Gangohi

Mufti Mahmood Hasan Gangohi (1907–1996) was an Indian Mufti and Islamic scholar. He served as The Head Mufti at Darul Uloom Deoband and Mazahir Uloom for many years. He was The Most Senior Khalifa (Deputy) of Shaykh Zakariyya Kandhalwi (1898–1982). He was also the Shaikh of recent Mohtamim of Darul Uloom Deoband.

Jamia Nizamia Ghousia

Darul Uloom Jamia Nizamia Ghousia is the Islamic seminary of /sunni Muslims. It was established by Mohammad Abdul Ghafoor Hazarvi, Where he served as the Mohatmim and Grand Mufti. Later on his son Mufti Abdul Shakoor Hazarvi took over as Mohatmim till April 2010. The Jamia has prominently known for the great Ulama and Huffaz of Quran and Hadith it produced. It continues the tradition of the Darul uloom system initiated by Darul Uloom Bareily.

Akhtar Raza Khan Indian Barelvi Muslim scholar, cleric and mufti

Muhammed Akhtar Raza Khan Azhari, also knowm as Taajush Shari'ah or Azhari Miya was an Indian Barelvi Muslim scholar, cleric and mufti. He was a descendant (great-grandson) of Mujaddid Ahmed Raza Khan, founder of the Barelvi movement. He was considered by Barelvi Muslims in India to function as the Grand Mufti of India. He had been ranked 22nd on the list of The 500 Most Influential Muslims in the world, compiled by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre. He had crores of followers across the country and outside. On 20 July 2018, he died from a long illness.
